cool topic. I'll say God Machine, by Acid Bath. That gives a pretty good idea of the kind of stuff I listen to, and it sums up a few of my ideals pretty well.

This changes by the moment....but currently standing at

ReHab-It don't matter(and i dont care) the songs all about how life sucks, so fuck it. Thats where im at completely.

Staind-Excess Baggage. If you dont feel his pain while listening to that, you are obviously dead. I know the pain that man feels and I can relate, I only wish I had wrote the song. To bad I will never be that good with what I write.

blazin' squad, crossroads a cool song, kinda defines my musical taste as it is a mix of pop, garage and r 'n b all of which i like.

also dead ringer for love by meatloaf, not really sure why but its such a cool song

i won't say a THING about blazing squad. OH god i have to mention that when i first saw the vid i thought it was a grange hill cast single from the late 80's. Do people actually WEAR shirts like that?

i KNOW mine will be a smiths song, but then it's every single one in some ways. I don't think i can *quite* pick one. Golden lights is the only one i dislike even remotely, and they didn't write that.

Dancing Queen is pretty good for me too, now that I think about it.

 I had a good laugh at this one.

Anyway... I usually only think about topics like this when I'm feeling down, so I usually think of "Creep" by Radiohead and "I Started a Joke" by the Bee Gees (even though I still like The Wallflowers' cover better).

Faith No More's cover of "I Started a Joke" is pretty good.

I saw a thread like this in WDI, and like with there, I can't think of a song that defines me. I will say that come every holiday season, I play the shit out of the Pogues' "Fairytale of New York."

I fucking LOVE their version of Dirty Old Town, in fact I love Shane Magowan in general.

Kind of explains why I have all the Pogues cds he's on and all his solo stuff dosen't it.

Actually Bif, that reminds me of something. First recommendation I EVER had on Morpheus/Kazaa, and this was after six months of having the program, was "Loser." I'd had a really horrible day too. I may have cried, I don't remember.

But then DANCING QUEEN~! made it all better!!!

Oh dear. Can someone get her a copy of the original Bone Thugs-N-Harmony song. Whilst I go and murder Blazin' Squad, murder them dead!

Nevermortal, my friend Jason and I sing that song at least three times a day...for no real reason.

Either "The Way I Am" by Eminem or "Sacrifice" by Trik Turner.

However, "Emily" by Bowling For Soup has some much similarity with my life it scares the shit out of me.

I Just Wasn't Made for These Times

or

I Know There's An Answer

Two gems about life from the Beach Boys' Pet Sounds. Then again, the whole album is just a wonderful story about the wavering good and crap of life.
