This Just In: HHH has requested that after he destroys Kane easily Sunday at HHH Mercy (No Mercy has been renamed), that McMahon rename all the RAW titles to the following..

 

World Title = The HHH Title

 

World Tag Team Titles = HHH Tag Team Titles

 

World Womans' Title = Stephanie's Womans' Title

 

Also I have heard that the Survivor Series will be called the HHH Series. More to come as the HHH effect continues to grow strong stronger.

The evnetual outcome was Trips was supposed to meet Austin at SummerSlam and each would feud with Benoit and Jericho respectively, in holder feuds. Trips would then get the win; the title reign length was unknown at the time, but no more than a month probably as Rock was set to beat Austin at WrestleMania. That was the original plan.

so...trips would turn face only for a lame duck reign to put the title back on the rock without having rock/austin again before wrestlemania? that doesn't sound like something he'd agree to, he'd retain more credibility as austin's partner in evil than the guy who can't get a decisive win over the rock even as a face. the win over austin wouldn't do him any good, cause he'd already beaten austin in february.

you know...in all seriousness, that would make a hell of an angle. of course, they'd have to use it in building up to a face knocking him off the top spot & taking away his power, which would never happen, since trips never loses a blowoff.

The original plan was to make Austin almost unbeatable until the Rock beat him. But with how the execution bombed out, they were going to put Triple H in position for a short reign, especially since they had axed his face turn, and then get the title back on Austin. It's not something he has to agree on at the moment; he probably couldn't have persuaded a change in plans, but that was the basic idea. After Triple H got injured, it was moved up to SummerSlam for Rock/Austin but the Angle turn did fine and Booker was doing pretty well so they decided to hold it off; hoping they could save Rock/Austin for Survivor Series, but they had aborted on the InVasion angle by then.

So either way, RVD was going to get jobbed out to Triple H? RVD probably wouldn't have jobbed the IC title to Jericho, if Hunter agreed to wearing the title.

 

I'm not the biggest RVD fan myself, but DAMN!

He has single handledly striped any chance for every wrestler whom are unable to be World Champions to Hold ANY title. People like the Dlo Browns, the Tommy Dreamers, and Lance Storms.. Very skilled wrestlers Charismatic Wrestlers But NOOOOO They get no Title Recognition. Because Fucking HHH Needs to STAND out over everyone. Like being World Champion isn't special anymore. Hey ITS not the IC title's fault that your bookers wanted to Split the rosters...ITs not the IC fault that Baby Hewey Brock needed his own personal World championship on Smackdown. And its not the IC titles fault you HHH needed to be the World Champion on Raw.

 

People on here say good riddens the IC title is dead Because HOW DARE CHYNA wear the title.. So you would Just piss over a Title because Someone you Dislike held the title? Oh if CHYNA can wear it, then its not worth something. Why does your intense hatred over a woman causes you to dismiss the IC belt? So she can do a Handspring Elbow and a Pedigree off the top turnbuckle. HHH couldn't do it.. But NOOOO Its CHYNA so she must not deserve anything. IC title as well as the other two lesser titles was a Way for Midcarders to get over...Eliminating them tells those in the Roster the WWE would never elevate to the World title that you will get NO recoginition as a Champion, You are all a Bunch of Jobbers and contenders for the the Main Eventers. Since thats the only people to Hold the World Championship.

D'Lo Brown: Former IC and European Champion

 

Tommy Dreamer: Former Hardcore Champion

 

Lance Storm: Former IC, Tag Team, WCW US, WCW Cruiserweight, WCW Hardcore

 

These guys had title recognition! Hell, everyone whose been on the roster for more than a year had some sort of title recognition in there somewhere. And that's why limiting the number of titles now is a good idea. Because titles mean less and less once everyone and their mom has them at some point. The IC title hasn't helped anyone get more over in 5 years, all it was was some hunk of metal they passed around the roster. Big deal. I shead no tears at its passing.

What they should do is mercy kill this Brand extension angle, and have one company like before because this is getting out of hand. This Kane the murderer angle is going to bomb guarantee, he'll eventually job to HGH at NO Mercy so he could be the man to unify the IC title and the FTW.....,um, i mean the World title belt. Hopefully RVD gets to win that title @ survivor series but with this shitty booking by that punk Gerwits (or whatever his name is )you never know which direction is RAW going.
