Guest HBK16 Report post Posted October 8, 2002 I think we had one of these before but it sparked a really good conversation so I thought I would bring it back. Mine would have to be taking a cruise. I went on a cruise last summer with Carnival and my family liked it so much we want again this summer. There's just so much to do on the boat. I would get to my cabin at 4 am and get up at 9 or 10. It was a blast. This summer me and my family are going to Hong Kong so that is going to be really exciting. I have seen a lot of cool stuff about Hong Kong and it looks like an awesome place to go. So I am looking foreward to that.
Guest Texas Small Arms 09 Report post Posted October 8, 2002 Well if I just wanna get away its gotta be Malibu or Mission Beach in California. But if I wanna have fun, nothing says fun like Sin City, Las Vegas. Just depends on what I really want.

Guest DJ Jeff Report post Posted October 9, 2002 I would have to say Banff, Alberta, Canada. Yeah, it might be small, but it's a nice place to visit.

Guest Agent of Oblivion Report post Posted October 9, 2002 Craters of the Moon National Monument, in Idaho, of all places. It's the most beautiful place I've ever been. No people, black volcanic rock for miles around, caves, and the nearest town is something like 50 miles away, maybe more. If you've never heard of the place, it's a spot where there's been recent volcanic activity. (well, recent as in geologically recent, being thousands of years ago.) Anyway, everything there is fucking dead, and is covered by basalt and obsidian. There's lava tubes from the dormant volcanoes there that you can walk around in and shit. Also, at night, a person can pretty much see every star in the sky, depending on the weather. It's fucking amazing.
