I dont know how you can say that a 3.8 is bad, considering that RAW has had 3.6's for the last 2 weeks and was even lower than that before. If anything its a good sign, I mean at least ratings are getting closer to 4.0 than 3.0, which has got to be good news.

They hyped it to all hell, and it barely changed anything. That's bad. Had it been a normal raw, the rating would be considered possitive, but after all this build-up, it's a dissapointment.

Thing is, are they going to have this roulette wheel thing every week? It'll get old pretty fast.

I don't know why everyone cares so much about the ratings anyways. Attendance, buyrates, and merchandise sales are where the WWF makes its revenue.

I dont care about ratings. But Im sure that the WWE does, if not from an advertising standpoint, then from a how many people were watching HHH's 20 minute promo vs how many people were watching RVD wrestle.

Ratings matter. Probably only because of the networks, but yeah.

Well, obviously the difference between a 6.0 and a 3.0 is important, but 0.2 difference is meaningless.

Also, the WWF had bigger problems with advertisers when they were pulling in high ratings, simply because all of the shit that Russo was doing (DX, Sexual Chocolate, Godfather, etc.).

Other than the network, I can't tell you why they care. Bragging rights, or they're waiting for a sign that their oh so prescious casual fans are back.

Screw the core fanbase! Who needs them? ;)
