Guest Leena Report post Posted November 3, 2002 Antonio Davis got injured also. Bad luck there. Vince only had a strain though, so he won't be out long.
Guest razazteca Report post Posted November 3, 2002 when Juwan Howard decides to play, I shall take that #1 spot. I get no luck with the Fowards on my team other than Malik Rose who is my Mark Steal of the draft. So far Triple Threat of Texas are producing: 1) Assist from Parker and Nash - Texas Size Vanilla Midgets 2) FG% & Rebounds from Rose - Midcard Stud Kobe Bryant as the Main Event is producing high buy rates While the rest of the HOSS~ are barely getting double digits in anything. Guest Leena Report post Posted November 3, 2002 You cannot beat my hosses with lesser hosses! That's like saying Test would defeat The Undertaker... pure silliness. You can only counter hoss greatness with small, talented guys... but Taker will squash them anyway. The end.
Guest razazteca Report post Posted November 3, 2002 well Juwan Howard is getting groomed for his KANE push, so watch out. Cris Anderson is taking care of business while Howard is out. And my European HOSS~ is a better Offensive Rebounder and has a better FG% Jason Williams Outside Shooter Versian 1 will overcome the odds.
Guest Leena Report post Posted November 3, 2002 I have the quintessential European HOSS, drunken fool and all, in Ilgauskas. That is, until he blows out his knee... I predict that happens in a month.
Guest NaturalBornThriller4:20 Report post Posted November 3, 2002 Kurt Thomas has given me another good night. 16 Pts , 14 Rebs. Just to think, I always used to hate him. Pretty good showing from Baron Davis, 15 Pts , 8 Assists. Let's see if i'm moving on up. Brendan Haywood hasn't done much for me this Season, but I need a C, so he stays for now. Guest razazteca Report post Posted November 3, 2002 But I have C. Anderson with this name of excellance, I can't go wrong.
Guest NaturalBornThriller4:20 Report post Posted November 3, 2002 I've been offered a good trade in one of my other Leagues, I ship out Baron Davis and recieve MICHAEL JORDAN! This is a good trade. I can give up Baron Davis, I do have Jay Williams and Tyronn Lue as backups. Leena, what to do ?
Guest razazteca Report post Posted November 3, 2002 keep Baron Davis
Guest midnight_burn Report post Posted November 3, 2002 Vince AND Antonio injured? Gah. Now i'm really going to need Payton, Mason, Abdur-Rahim and Gasol to just go nuts every game, everyone else on my team can't be trusted to do anything.
Guest Will Scarlet Report post Posted November 3, 2002 Well, I am happy with my performance today, as I have seemingly moved into 6th place for now. I am still figuring out exactly how scoring works, but from the sounds of it, my team was lead to a big day by PJ Brown, of all people, with his double-double and .714 FG percentage. Not bad for a guy I was throwing around as a joke name when my friend who manages the Salzburg Stallions was trying to give me Yao Ming. All in all though, not bad considering I knew very little about basketball when the season started.
Guest Leena Report post Posted November 3, 2002 Yay! The Clippers won a game! The Clippers won a game! They beat Detroit 74-72... I'm glad it wasn't on TV. Unfortunately, my Clips shot horribly (A. Miller 1-of-12 from the floor) and 1st place should be gone by tonight. Oh well. By the way, GLENN ROBINSON is highly tradeable now. I'm gonna finish near last in points, and he can't save me by himself... so if you want him, give me someone who's worthy enough of a 25 pt scorer.
Guest razazteca Report post Posted November 3, 2002 what do you want for Robinson?
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted November 3, 2002 I should rename my team the Pacers - Bender, Artest and Jermaine O'Neal.. Jonathan Bender was a nice waiver pickup, he'll help with my lack of a shot blocker.
Guest Leena Report post Posted November 4, 2002 I made some offers with Robinson. I thought about Bender, but I hate taking any Pacer since so many get playing time. I've been offered a good trade in one of my other Leagues, I ship out Baron Davis and recieve MICHAEL JORDAN! This is a good trade. I can give up Baron Davis, I do have Jay Williams and Tyronn Lue as backups. Leena, what to do ? If you want to win, keep Davis. If you wanna mark out, take Jordan. Jay Williams is awesome, but he won't get many assists, this year at least. Lue is worthless until the Wizards figure out that Larry Hughes is not a starting PG. Jordan is vastly overrated in fantasy, because he'll be playing limited minutes, and he's only good for points... plus he's high risk for injury.
Guest cartman Report post Posted November 4, 2002 I should definitely keep my team name "Celtics" since I'm gonna suck it bigtime all season in this league.
Guest midnight_burn Report post Posted November 4, 2002 Bleh. Unless Payton and Gasol can count for 9 people, my team is looking at a nice spot in the basement in this league. Other than Gary and Pau, my team is a bunch of average players, Abdur-Rahim who's numbers will be down as long as Robinson, Terry and Ratliff are going good, and an injury prone Vince Carter who i just know will play shit when he comes back, doing dick all on a crap team. Guest Chuck Woolery Report post Posted November 4, 2002 Well... I'm guessing I won't be holding second place much longer. On the bright side, my whole team is producing somewhat, if not beautifully... meh. Maybe I can make the playoffs. Are there playoffs? I need to make and excel in the playoffs. - Mike, team owner, Angry Man Spinebusta
Guest Leena Report post Posted November 4, 2002 Abdur-Rahim will still put up good numbers, and don't worry... Ratliff will get injured like he does every year.
Guest Leena Report post Posted November 4, 2002 Hmmm... looks like I'm barely gonna hold on to 1st after tonight. It should be gone tomorrow as I only have a few playing.
Guest razazteca Report post Posted November 4, 2002 Lakers and Jazz will move from bottom to top I want Glenn Robinson
Guest Leena Report post Posted November 5, 2002 Wow... Donyell Marshall had an incredible game... 32 pts, 17 rebs (9 offensive, which is insane for a SF). I guess I'm not gonna trade him after all. Jerry Krause, please trade Jalen Rose too, btw.
Guest razazteca Report post Posted November 5, 2002 The Spurs are doing well stat wise and Overtime is helping alot
Guest Leena Report post Posted November 5, 2002 All the Spurs except Ginobili who fouled out... *Sigh*. Gooden & Giricek are doing very little, also. Oh well.
Guest razazteca Report post Posted November 5, 2002 Steve Kerr is the man!!!! Double Overtime
Guest razazteca Report post Posted November 5, 2002 the only thing that matters is that Parker & Rose are still playing
Guest midnight_burn Report post Posted November 5, 2002 Once again Gasol's the only non-Seattle player on my team doing anything. And why on earth is Eddy Curry only playing 12 minutes. He's finally playing good, so lets bench him and give double his minutes to Fred Hoilberg and Corie Blount.
