A Way To Bring Back WCW....

Alright, so we're heading into the Survivor Series, with Bischoff still pissed that Smackdown is doing better than RAW. Let's say, oh, 2 weeks before the Survivor Series, Bischoff announces that he's going to do something that will change sports entertainment forever. He's going to do something that he should have done when he first arrived in the WWE. The fans would never have seen this coming. Leading up to the Survivor Series, everyone is left wondering what Bischoff is talking about. During the main event, which would be for the World Title, someone dressed all in black, and wearing a ski mask comes down to the ring, and screws whoever the champion is out of the World Title. This mystery man removes his mask, and it's none other than....GOLDBERG. At that time, Bischoff comes out, and announces that Goldberg is the first superstar to sign with the new WCW, and WCW is back. Then, between the Survivor Series and the Royal Rumble, superstars from both RAW and Smackdown sign with the new WCW, hoping that they can go to a better company. Finally, the RAW before the Royal Rumble, Bischoff announces that the final superstar that will join the new WCW will join at the Royal Rumble, and will also enter the Royal Rumble at #30. So, we're at the Royal Rumble, and the 30th entrant comes down, and it's....SCOTT STEINER. Steiner goes on to win the Royal Rumble, and goes on to Wrestlemania 19 to face the World Champion, who is now the WCW Champion. So, between the Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania 19, RAW is basically full of WCW talent, since Stephanie would have gotten rid of all the WCW stars from Smackdown, and had all the WWE stars join Smackdown. During the RAW before Wrestlemania 19, Vince returns, and tells Bischoff that Wrestlemania 19 will be the last time that Bischoff is in the WWE, because after that, Bischoff can take WCW, and move on. Vince could also say that he decided to do something not many fans thought he would do, and that's sign WCW to a cable company, and that the Monday after Wrestlemania 19 marks the return of Nitro. After that, the rest writes itself. Anyways, that's what I think would be a good way to bring back WCW, if Vince wanted competition.

To whoever moved this, thanks. This is the first time I've posted anything like this, so yeah.

 

Anyways, on paper, this could work, and if it's done right, it could still work even. I mean, anything is possible, right?

The way to bring it back if at all, is not to just hotshot it but slow-burn it to build anticipation and have more time to give thought to the storylines and make room for any freak injuries to occur.

 

While your idea would give a few markout moments they'd only screw it up and forget about it a week later.

 

Have bischoff steadily trade back the wcw wrestlers from smackdown including the crusierweight division then when he has virtually the whole roster he can spring nitro on us!

 

They can use his history with vince as a tool for motivation as in this episode being the REAL reason he took the GM job.

 

Slow-burn is the way to go after all the hotshot angles they've fucked up completely.

 

Also, goldberg and stiener are a waste of time and money, the wwe have more than enough guys to make it they just need to bother to create some goddamn stars!
