Eh. Buffy I just found out about from Amazon.com (I signed up for the "notify me when this becomes available for preorder" thing)

Why is the Dead Zone being released as episodes, why not a complete season. That show was pretty good.

I originally cared about Malcom in the Middle, but now I could care less. Same goes for Law and Order due to the high price.

X - Files is up to season 6 of 9, but Im waiting until the whole series is out and hopefully it will drop in price a bit.

Dragnet is interesting considering ABC is going to disgrace it with a new version of Dragnet on Monday Nights starting in January after Football season.

Hmmm, I'll probably get "Band of Brothers" and "X-Files Season 6".

But still no "NewsRadio" ::weeps softly::

Hey, you know they had to ruin a good thing at some point..

Record Company to Sell TV-Like DVDs with Ads

No doubt this will roll over to actual TV show releases on DVD. I mean its bad enough they cost 30 bucks and up, but with commercials, I would hope the price dropped a good bit, but I figure they will charge more since it will cost more and require more discs to put a series, with commercials on DVD.

Canada and the US are both Region 1, so it shouldn't matter...

What's the difference between Region 1 DVDs and all other DVDs?

Well in Europe they got PAL instead of NTSC so they can only view Region 2 discs unless they had hacked players or the DVDs were region free.

• MTV Jackass: Volume 2

• MTV Jackass: Volume 3

When the hell was there even a Volume 1? Another thing that pisses me off is these just appear to be two 75 min. "Best of DVD's". Considering there were only 24 episodes in total they could easily just release a Complete 3 Season Boxset of Jackass.

Damn, when will they be releasing the rest of the All in the Family series. Season 1 came out many months ago.

This is a simple argument... I don't have to pay to watch TV because of commercial ads, thus if there are commercial ads on the DVD, I will not pay for it. Period.

• Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season Three

• Oz: The Second Season

Well, you can tack on another awesome release for this day. The Shield Season 1, 4 Disc Set. I'm not into Oz, so that doesn't appeal to me, but Im going to get the Buffy set, and now I think I need to get the Shield set as well. It coincides well with the 2nd season of the show and they should shill it to death so that people who missed the first season (me) get it..

There was never a volume 1. It's a joke made up by the Jackass crew.

I think it's safe to say that the TV-to-DVD thing has gotten way out of hand.

That being said, any word on extras (if any) on the "first season" sets?
