Guest cynicalprofit Posted October 10, 2002 Report Posted October 10, 2002 Im just curious as WCW was told you cant do anything that you cant present to a first grader, how did they get Kronic past them. I mean it was obviously a drug reference. And the finisher was High Times, which is a drug magizine. So how did they get it past standards and practice?
Guest JHawk Posted October 10, 2002 Report Posted October 10, 2002 Nobody in standards actually knew what the hell it meant would be my guess. Maybe they thought it meant "chronic pain" or something.
Guest kkktookmybabyaway Posted October 10, 2002 Report Posted October 10, 2002 For the wrestlers facing Kronic (or was it "k") or the viewers watching them...?
Guest Midnight Express83 Posted October 10, 2002 Report Posted October 10, 2002 you need some cronic to watch Kroni>l. They got it by at first because they were called Kronik with nothing drug realted. Then when the high times came along and the green intro. It was there, but as in insider joke for the most part. It wasn't until their heel turn it was a flat out drug related that everyone got. But by then, WCW was sold.
Guest cynicalprofit Posted October 11, 2002 Report Posted October 11, 2002 Man youd think a million dollar organization would be able to figure out these things, but then again they did call jason sweep the final solution...man what does it take to run a billion dollar empire, seriously, its obviously not brains.
Guest The Czech Republic Posted October 17, 2002 Report Posted October 17, 2002 Well, "The Final Solution" is a pretty menacing name for a wrestler seeing as how it refers to genocide and all. Sounds a hell of a lot more intimidating than Braun The Leprechaun. Maybe Standards & Practices were anti-Semitic! Evil! Bad! It's one big corrupt company!
Guest cynicalprofit Posted October 17, 2002 Report Posted October 17, 2002 Still it was never a good idea..
