Seriously though, I'd have to vote Edge as Most Improved Wrestler in the RSPW Awards, because his selling is top-notch.

RVD does a good job of taking a "Beating." His selling is a issue though.

Perfect oversold way to much, taking too many superbumps from basic punches. Edge keeps his down to a more acceptable level.

I disagree. Perfect saved his best bumping for PPV. I liked watching his flying shoes act.

Angle's pretty damn good at Bumping & Selling also. It's just he plays a heel so he dictates the pace of the matches. (Unless, he's wrestling the Undertaker then Taker of course takes all the Offense) Another things that makes me scratch my head is the beef with Storm & Christian having heat for controlling the Offense. But, that's a whole other subject.

Well, I will say that no one sold getting kicked in the back of the legs like Perfect did. But leaping in the air and spinning 360 degrees off a punch? Kinda lame.

I think Edge does a very good job of selling, on feel he has improved in all aspects of wrestling over recent months (apart from on the mic, where it is the same old Edge).

Of current wrestlers, I think the much maligned Buba Ray Dudley takes bumps well, even (as seen on Raw) on his face!

Yeah, but bumping as a heel is totally different, since they usually don't get grinded into paste like a face does for the majority of the match. The heel doesn't have to get the fans behind them while taking punishment, which a face just has to if they want to succeed. Edge gets over that he is in actual danger, which is something Austin and Undertaker have never been able to master. Rock did a good job of it, until, of course, he just kipped up and went back to the attack.

I kinda disagree with you on the Taker front.

 

I remember watching through some old wrestlemania tapes...and he seemed to sell that he was in danger a few times.

 

...of course, then again, his danger could also be just him playing possum...maybe I'm wrong. ^^

Bumping is the only thing he can do remotely well. The selling is probably a product of it actually hurting since he rarely ever makes contact on his moves.

You have a point, too. Bumping and selling aren't always the same thing (RVD is a master at the former, but terrible with the latter).

Edge never gets beat, he always wins every freaking feud he is on. That's why he is Smackdown's #1 babyface, if there was an RVD on Smackdown then he'll be a #2 babyface.OOOOPS you meant getting beat up meaning bumping in the ring,OOOH my bad, he is ok at doing that I've seen better.

D-Von is an underrated seller. He used to take all the Dudleys' beatings, since Bubba Ray is the most protected guy tHHHis side of...some guy. Anyway, D-Von tops it off with his cool twitch.
