OVW to hold tournament for RR spot

OVW has announced that they will be holding a tournament to decide who represents the promotion at the 2003 WWE Royal Rumble.

 

"Ironman" Rob Conway will face Nick Dinsmore while Doug Basham will face Dammaja. The winner of the 4-man tournament will face Nova for the OVW Title. The winner of that match will go on to participate in the 2003 Royal Rumble, be crowned OVW Champion, and face Kurt Angle in two weeks at the OVW TV taping.

They're all basically the same. Basham probably has the best 'look' out of the mall. Conway is probably the tallest(by like one or two inches, maybe), and Dinsmore has a little more meat on him than any other, but it's not much.

 

So... just pick one, and you'll be good.

I've been RPing as Hurricane in my E-Fed...and AndrewTS as Nova...and we've written ***** matches between the two.

 

One could only imagine what Nova and Hurricane to do against each other.

 

Either that, or WWE will make them into a Super-Hero duo.

If the OVW was about to flop I could see that happening, but I'm still getting the impression of HHH about to absorb the OVW title like a cackling cartoon supervillian.

 

Although the real Nova dropped the superhero gimmick...would be nice to see him go back to it in the event Nova jumped to the WWE. I mean, as opposed to what Hurricane's doing now.. Shining Kane's tag team titles in between Heat jobs.

Um i think a larger picture is being missed here, Kurt Angle, the guy who can carry just about anyone to a decent match, no mark henery, not you, is going to OVW and more likely then not gonna put them over and one of their wrestlers. HHH doesnt even have half Angles balls. Angle truly is great.
