**drinks a full gallon of milk**

Hey, look at that: I HAVEN'T FARTED SINCE I TOOK A POOP THIS MORNING.

Besides, milk only gives you gas if you're LACTOSE-INTOLERANT. Meaning YOU CANNOT HANDLE LACTOSE, WHICH IS FOUND IN ALL DAIRY PRODUCTS. So saying milk gives everybody gas is false advertising.

Anyway, it's healthy to fart. I mean, we wouldn't want all that stuff just building up over time, now would we? Imagine that.

Okay, I did a little research (looked in the fridge) and an 8 oz glass of Grade-A Kroger Brand 2% milk gives a person with a 2000 calorie diet 30% of their daily value of calcium. Combine that with a bowl of Cheerios (which are fortified with vitamins and minerals), and you're up to 55%. That's a little bowl, too. Provided these kids are also drinking milk at school, we're up to 85%. A glass of milk with a sandwich or some oreos or something after school, and we're well over 100%.

Now, how is milk a poor source of calcium?

I don't know very much about this subject, but I do know that there are two kinds of calcium. One is good for your bones, while the other doesn't contribute shit. I forget their names. I only remember that the good calcium is the one in Tums, so read the back of the Tums' container for it's name. As for which of these two calciums is in milk...I have no idea.

I'm not an expert on calcium being absorbed into the body, and the processes it entails, but Ca is an alkaline earth metal, the only difference is the compound it's in when being ingested.

PETA is perhaps the dumbest organization in America today. First they start a whole campaign on how drinking milk is racist. Their reasoning being that it a large number of blacks are lactose intolerant. Then, after all these news stories on binge drinking at our local colleges, they set up adversting on college websites promoting drinking beer instead of milk, because it's supposedly healthier. Well excuse me, but I never heard of anybody needing a designated driver after downing a Yoo Hoo. And now this! Yeah, let's, instead of letting our kids drink something healthy, lets say that said healthy milk is bad for them, forcing them to drink something that is unhealthy. Somebody needs to burn them to the ground.

I think they do a good job defacing their organization on their own. I'm always happy to help out, but still. They're basically saying, "Why drink milk when you can get drunk?" and at the same time, those fratboys that took the advice are stuffing themselves with pepperoni pizza with extra cheese, burgers, and bratwurst.

I've heard this argument from groups, and from what I've heard, the beef (pun intended) is that the gvt. encourages milk for a person's daily dairy requirement and not other items that blacks could consume. I think this group (it wasn't PETA, but it was the same argument) has a point, but to call it RACIST makes a lot of people, deservedly, roll their eyes up...

WTF...If peta had their way, the four food groups would be granola, soybeans, lettuce, and vitamin supplements.
