Guest Sassquatch Report post Posted October 10, 2002 From Da Meltz: "Billy Graham's liver was checked out yesterday and he does not have the feared liver cancer. He is also in line for a liver donation that would potentially save his life." Sass's Thought's: I never did have any pity for Graham as I read how his body went to Hell due to his years of steroid use while I was growing up. Billy is a nice guy and at least came out of his roid days with some knowledge. But that does still not excuse him for ruining his body with the shit that he used. When Graham came back to the WWF in late '86, the boys in the back were scared shitless when he would walk though the hallways due to the damage his body had taken because of his drug use. Billy was a glowing reminder about what the affects of roids can do to someone and it is a shame that some people did/still not get the message. But in a world where giants rule the Earth, it is the status quo and damn the problems that will happen later on down the road. Someone only needs to take a look at Graham, Scott Steiner or Lyle Alzado to see just how much steroids can hurt/kill you after years of usage/abuse. This is some rather good news to hear considering all of the deaths of some wrestling legends this year, which I think, was at an all-time high. Graham's book that he is feverishly trying to get out to the printer is also supposed to be an awesome read. Graham is one of those guys’s that will have about a thousand stories to tell and you can bet that each one of them will be interesting to say the least. Congratulations to Billy and his family. Guest saturnmark4life Report post Posted October 10, 2002 hurrah, i was wondering why there hadn't been any updates on him for ages, and i feared the worst. From the back, he could be mistaken for perry saturn. God speed% <o>
Guest humongous2002 Report post Posted October 11, 2002 Well even though he used Roids, he was also using recreational drugs like coke and speed. And as far as I know I think the doctors told him that it wasn't his steroid abuse that got him sick.
Guest Slickk Report post Posted October 11, 2002 I really didn't feel sorry for Billy too much either, but I am really happy to hear everthing is looking up. He was a great man once in the world of wrestling. Hey Sass, you might want to add Trips to that list also. He isn't gonna last much longer either. His last injurie is proof of that.
