Vince McMahon Planning Major Talent Meeting For RAW

Posted By Ashish on 10.10.02

Rumor has it that Vince McMahon is planning to hold a big meeting with talent this Monday before RAW. The general feeling is that McMahon plans to blame the talent for WWE's recent struggles.

Most of the wrestlers feel that McMahon himself, along with the rest of the creative department, deserves the blame for WWE's current problems.

One wrestler quoted the following: This is an all-star crew. He has the best roster of workers that he's ever had in the history of the company."

Credit: PWTorch.com

-------------------------------

I just found the solution to the WWE's problems, Vince McMahon...it's time to step down cause you're a freakin' idiot now!!! That one wrestler is right...don't blame the best roster you've possibly ever had!

:stupid: Wrestling genius MY ASS!

Vince isn't a genius. He just takes risks and got real lucky on some of those risks.

If anyone is to blame for the recent struggle in ratings for the WWE it's Vince. He's the one who brought in the nWo, and they bombed. He's the one who approved of Hogan winning the WWE Undisputed Title at Backlash, and having Hogan lose the title to the Undertaker at Judgment Day. He's also the one who approves of these storylines. So, both Vince, and the writers are to blame.

Tips for Vince:

1. Cut the roster to about 40 guys.

2. End the split.

3. Stop letting HHH have booking power.

4. Stop letting Stephanie have booking power.

5. Start making HHH and Undertaker put over young guys. If they say no fire their fucking asses. Where are they going to go? It isn't like the war between WCW and WWF is still going on.

Vince is gonna blame Bischoff, I just know it

It's what he was hired for.

Personally I think Vince is making a calculated attempt to destroy his stock value.

If he regains the outstanding shares for 1/8th what he sold them for he has in effect became a billionaire and GETS 100% control.

Sounds like something out of Shadowrun i know, but I can't imagine him being this big a 'tard.

You know, I don't generally find the -uhs funny because-uh they are-uh so gratutious-uh, but this was damned funny. Shit, I am still giggling like a school-girl...

Let's face it. Vince Mcmahon created Wrestling. It wasn't Austin, it wasn't Hogan. It was Vince. Ted Turner caused the downfall of the Wwf because he stole all the top talent and Vince was left out in the cold. The WWF is also cyclical in nature. And Rock left to do movies. And Austin is gone. And Scott Hall ruined the NWO. And you're all big fat doody heads. And you should shut-up now.

- Vince Mcmahon.

PS. It is the wrestlers fault for not being popular and good enough to be pushed and become Main Eventers and that's why HHH and Taker are being forced to carry the company on their backs.

WWE should of never went public ever

now WWE has to worry about keeping stock holders happy, as if keeping the fans happy was stressful enough. Of course neither truely know what is good for business. Having yes men are not the answer either.

and yes I see irony in my statement.

now who to blame? can we blame The New Network TNN.

this is stupid, just as stupid as jr bitching out the on-air talent on the ross report and triple h bitching out the on-air talent. the talent has ALWAYS been, and WILL ALWAYS BE, the single best quality of the wwf. despite so many attempts at trying to be the cool boss, vince has always taken his talent for granted. he expects them to pick up the slack of the writing crew and the whole company's general lack of direction, then gets pissed at them when they become disillusioned & stop being willing to bump like maniacs and shorten their careers for television that sucks anyway.

I think one of us should send a letter to one of the Wwfs big investers and tell them that wrestling is NOT cyclical and that the Wwf is a sinking ship that is also on fire and it's best to get off now...

Just for kicks...

No its very simple..

Vince better blame himself He better SNAP out of his Austin Depression. and Stop his Daughter and HHH from running a Muck. More HHH than Steph. HHH getting reigh over Raw by burying RVD and Jericho, and then the title elimination which we know heard with more certainly was his Bright Fuckin Idea. ensures only he and he alone can be atop the mountain. Vince needs to realize HHH was one of those PUNKs who Kayfabed all those years ago. That despite HHH ability, he is not a Piece of Shit that is dragging WWE down at least on the Raw side.

This lunacy of more Soap Oprea than Wrestling... What the hell is the matter with Vince? Smackdown Went down to Crap Levels after 2-3 Weeks of Great Shows. One show having nearly 2 ***** Matches. and Now...Thanks to Soap Oprea debut on Smackdown....SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT!

Thanks HHH Thanks Steph. This is when they stop listening to Heyman, Ignore the True talent they have in the ring, and let the Idiots Run the asylum. Can Vince Please Forget Austin. AUSTIN IS NEVER COMING BACK VINCE. MOCK Austin like you did your 80's Cash Cow Hulk Hogan. Make a Austin Huckster character. Do whatever you have to do to get over it. Your Product is disintergrading. Wake up and Stop it!

The only way it will stop is if Steph and HHH have a violent break up where Steph catches HHH cheating or HHH gets a career ending injury. That will be the only way to stop it.

If every member of the internet wrestling fan community donated a dollar to the "rent a Ho to destroy HGH's relationship with Big Steph fund"(I am thinking Bass here) I think it'd happen....

2 outta 3 ain't bad (ain't exactly built, but lift weights and not really overweight), but you realize that it would take a tremendous sacrifice...that person would have to carry on a relationship with her...and hear that awful voice all the time (the reason I think Austin snapped on Debra if he really did so).

Oh, and remember Vince and her would likely want her to be dating some one who was rich. HGH may not be a multi-millionaire but you know he makes a comfortable living.

Just find out what hotel HHH is at next time WWE is in your hometown. Arrange a prostitute to go to his room. But first find a local tabloid and tell them they will get juicy photos of HHH and a prostitute at such and such hotel and send them there so that they get there as the prostitute does and they can snap pics for all the world to see.

I've always thought that Vince was never a genius, just a man who was extremely lucky.

Jesus, there is nothing at all wrong with his roster. Dating back to when he bought out his competition last year, everyone has been saying that he had the greatest roster assembled in the history of wrestling. It's a point already said ad nauseum, but it's his own fucking fault that he hasn't been able to do anything with his talent.

I also hold in my belief that wrestling is not really clyclical. While in a downturn, fans will turn away, but it always has something to do with the product being put out, and not an intangible factor. Good shows will always bring fans back, no matter what.

And fuck his appealing to marks. Granted, they're a large and important part of the audience, but smarks and longtime fans are the ones that stay with it and tolerate the crap, in hopes that things will get better. You want the fans back, give the masses good wrestling, not soap opera shit... You want to tell a good story, do it in the ring and with sensible angles. Keep up with the soap opera storylines, and things will only continue to get worse. Hell, back in the spring/summer of 2001, we were treated to great wrestling, and the ratings were holding steady, in spite of the spiral beginning at WM-17.

I hope there's widespread rebellion on this. Blaming the talent at this stage is insane. Whenever someone complains about backstage politics, they always say "Vince would never let it happen, because he's the final say on everything."

If that's true, why isn't he to blame when it all goes wrong?

Who hires the wrestlers? Chris Jericho? Nope. Who gave Mark Henry a gazillion dollars to be the lowpoint of Smackdown, RVD? Why did the Alliance angle bomb, because Christian and Test didn't want to cut their hair? Whose idea was XFL, Smackdown records, and the movie studio, Steve Austin's?

If I work hard and put on good matches, will I be rewarded with clean wins over old-time stars and main eventers?

Are things so bad because competition from wrestling competitors is killing us?

These are the questions Vince should be asking himself.

I think if Vince took a long, hard look at the current product, he could eventually find out where he's going wrong, and hopefully fix the problem. The first problem is HHH. He should have no backstage power at all. It was probably his idea to have the WWE Champion exclusive to Smackdown, so he could get his own World Title, and be on top of the RAW roster. Second, get rid of Stephanie completely. She's so damn annoying. Finally, fire the Big Show. He's not really worth anything to the WWE at this time. While they're at it, fire Henry and Rikishi, as well as any other superstars that are a waste of roster space.

Somebody send this to that feedback thing on wwe.com

Will they read it? Maybe so...

Will they take it seriously? HELL NO!...

but it's still fun to shove what's wrong in their face

(they get the message but continue to be in denial)

WWE mottos:

-VINCE MCMAHON IS NEVER WRONG

-HHH AND TAKER ARE THE TOP DRAWS...AND FOREVER WILL BE

Depressing...ain't it?

Vince won't say no to his daughter. Anything she wants she gets, and since HHH is dating her he basically gets his way.

I can almost hear RVD getting blamed because of some mythical ball that McMahon will say was placed in his hands...even though every push and every feud never reaches anything resmebling a conclusion.

They'll blame Lance Storm for doing a bad chairshot two months ago, I think.

Maybe we'll get another speech from Triple H. Man, would I love to hear the buzz from the internet sites after something like that.

----------------------------------------------------------

Breaking news out from WWE Headquarters. It appears as though Triple H is going out indefinately, after having an anvil apparently dropped on his head. There is no word on which U2 song Triple H will receive as he rehabs his injury. Stay tuned to 411 wrestling for more information as it becomes available.

The WWE top to bottom has the best talent roster in the history of any promotion. The writing and some of the booking has let the talent down.
