Lennon Killer Denied Parole Again

Mark David Chapman was denied parole on Wednesday for the crime of the 1980 murder of former Beatle John Lennon. The parole board declared that although Chapman had good behavior in prison that releasing him after only 22 years would "depreciate the seriousness of the crime."

This is the 2nd time in 2 years that Chapman has applied for parole and been denied.

and if he was ever release, he would be killed by some obsessive beatles or lennon fan who lives vicariously through the music! the motherfucker is safer in jail.

I say let him out of jail. Send him to Franklin (where everybody but me loves The Beatles)*.

* = I respect their impact on music, but they're not my thing.

Come on guys, what if he says he's sorry?

It seems to work for other killers...

Yoko said it best, if he's released, he's a dead man, and not becuase of her, cause of the fans.

Seriously, you ask enough people between the ages of say 40-55 if they had one free shot at either Saddam or Mark David Chapman, they'd pick Chapman

Ummm, guys I think that it's a LOT easier to say you'd kill someone than to actually do it.

At least that's what they said in Unforgiven. (The movie with Clint Eastwood.)

Then again, I highly doubt a fictional character could mean nearly as much as John Lennon did, as Lennon was really a premiere figure in promoting peace and free love instead of war (not to mention he made incredibly great music).

No, I meant that they talked about what it took to kill someone. The resolve the cold-bloodedness. I wasn't compareing Lennon to anyone in the movie.

I'll admit it:

I think it'd take a lot more than murdering a great musician to make me kill somebody.

Like, they'd have to do something to me or my family or friends...something that immediately deserves divine justice...
