Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted October 12, 2002 Greetings from 34,000 feet en route to Charlotte Motorspeedway, gearing up for the first running of the NWA TNA car during the Busch race tomorrow. More on this later in the column. Sheer orchestrated chaos. Who would have thought that Jerry Lynn's injury would have sparked a snowball effect, leading Bullet Bob to throw his hands up in the air and declare an every man for himself 6-man ladder match. It was one of the wildest, craziest, matches I have ever witnessed. If you didn't catch this week's program, order the replay for the last match alone. Simply incredible. Glad to say that the only injury from the match was Jose Maximo, who banged up his knee, but isn't expected to miss any time. All were banged up, but amazingly came away unscathed. I will go on record as saying the Joel Maximo spot with the ladder (and AJ Styles for that matter) landing right between his legs was the most insane ladder match spot that I have ever witnessed, and should never try to be topped. That man will be lucky if he is ever able to have children. Don West's lovely wife was spotted in the crowd holding up a sign for NWA World Tag champ Chris Harris. I guess that is payback for the many times we get to ogle at the lovely TNA girls every Wednesday. Speaking of which... did you like the blond TNA girl this week? Me too. Believe it or not, Miss Molly is on the U.S. Figure Skating Team. Great to be working with Curt Hennig. Aside from his outstanding abilities in the ring, Hennig makes my top five list of "Funniest people in professional wrestling." Curt also is a fellow Minnesotan! Go Twins! Hennig pinned The Truth Wednesday night, earning him a shot for the NWA World Title this week. Chris Rock's visit to the Asylum this past Wednesday was an experience I'll never forget. Rock asked me several questions about the crowd that attends the TNA Asylum, and was especially impressed with the ladder match. Head of State is set to open early next year. Expect to see myself, along with B.G. James, The Truth, Jeff Jarrett, Ron Harris, and referee Scott Armstrong from the TNA gang in the movie. TNA on TNT? Expect to see footage of Hermie Sadler in the ring with The Truth shown during the Busch race tomorrow. TNA will continue to improve the TNA Asylum. This week, we added some great lighting improvements. Coming in from out of town? You can now order tickets for TNA events via Pay Pal on www.nwatna.com. Look for vignettes this week to start, promoting the return of a TNA name we haven't seen in a while. As mentioned elsewhere on this site, the Syxx-Pac vs. AJ Styles X-Division title match this Wednesday night will NOT be a ladder match. Harris and Storm had their best outing to date this past Wednesday night. They are over like mad in Nashville, and are definitely starting to catch on with our Pay Per View audience as well. TNA will be bringing a camera crew to both the Busch race in Charlotte this weekend, as well as the upcoming NWA 54th Anniversary Show in Corpus Christi on the 26th. Go to www.nwawrestling.com for more information on the show. TNA will have several superstars, as well as members of the office attending this great show. That is all for this week gang! Have a great weekend and we will see you back at 8pm this Wednesday night for more NWA Total Nonstop Action!
