If Roster Split ends, when should it?

Recommended Posts

Just what the post says...if WWE decided to end the roster split, when should they end it at? The two major possibilities being Survivor Series or WrestleMania.

Survivor Series would work, sorta like they did last year. It was the end of the WCW/ECW Alliance. If one different type of roster could end there, leading to the future of the wrestling industry...why can't this one? Plus...the name sorta works: Who Will Survive?

Then again...the 1 year anniversarry (just about) of the split, WrestleMania, could also be a could place as any to end the split of the roster. Sure, it would be a longer time to wait, but it would be the biggest show of the year. The greatest spectacle of the year: WrestleMania 19: The Re-Uniting.

What do you people think?

Because the WWE would be desperate with ratings, and claim that the split was a failure, so they would decide to reunite the rosters.

Just a hypothetical situation.

In my personal opinion...if they just pushed the people better on the shows before hand...there would have been no need for the roster split.

But that's just my opinion.

Uhhh...

...as soon as possible. As a viewer it's been nothing but a negative.

Nay. They should keep it until next year's Summerslam. And by the sounds of how they feel they still haven't ironed this out well enough yet and want to crank up ECW (who will be the GM for that brand?) in the future, I don't see it leaving anytime soon.

Without the split, we would not have had Mattitude, BookDust, Bischoff's lovable heel character, any Cruiser airtime whatsoever, Mysterio, Cena (as much as I don't like him) and I suspect the tag division would be in worse shape. We would have also had to put up with HHH & Taker on the same show, a rarity since Austin left.

Also, Benoit and Eddy would not be pushed as heavily as they have been in the past few weeks.

In my opinion, the split started off with a really bad start, and then almost died when Austin left, but is crawling out of it's hole with this whole GM thing.

before the Royal rumble...or the goal of the Royal Rumble Event wouldn't make sense....Unless they did the Royal rumble GASP...Just because its the Royal Rumble, and not for a World title shot at the WM...

Maybe we could get a Non main event wrestler winning this time hehe.

As of right now, I don't want to see the split end. For one thing, it's enabling the WWE to push newer, and younger talent, which is always good. Also, I like this GM angle. What the WWE should do, though, is make Wrestlemania 19 an interpromotional PPV, and whoever wins the Royal Rumble, gets a shot at the other shows heavyweight title. That's what I'd like to see happen anyway. However, if the WWE wants to end the split, they should end it at Wrestlemania 19, since it is the biggest PPV after all.
