Guest Brush with Greatness Report post Posted October 13, 2002 So basically, before I had Windows XP I had built up about 5 discs of MP3 and I made them using Adaptec's Direct CD. Problem is, I think I left those CD's open or whatever so I need Direct CD to read them. So now with WinXp I no longer have Direct CD on my computer. Heard it doesn't work anyways. What I want to know is: Is there a way to access those 5 CD's of MP3s without Direct CD?
Guest areacode212 Report post Posted October 13, 2002 I don't know if there's another way of reading them. Maybe you can ask a friend with a cd-rw drive if he'll let you install Direct CD on his PC so you can copy the MP3s to his HD, then burn them to CDs the normal way. Moral of the story: Direct CD sucks. Don't use it.
