Direct CD - Windows XP HELP!

Recommended Posts

Guest Brush with Greatness

So basically, before I had Windows XP I had built up about 5 discs of MP3 and I made them using Adaptec's Direct CD. Problem is, I think I left those CD's open or whatever so I need Direct CD to read them. So now with WinXp I no longer have Direct CD on my computer. Heard it doesn't work anyways. What I want to know is: Is there a way to access those 5 CD's of MP3s without Direct CD?

I don't know if there's another way of reading them. Maybe you can ask a friend with a cd-rw drive if he'll let you install Direct CD on his PC so you can copy the MP3s to his HD, then burn them to CDs the normal way.

Moral of the story: Direct CD sucks. Don't use it.
