Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted October 13, 2002 Report Posted October 13, 2002 "This week’s edition of “Entertainment Weekly” they feature their annual “101 Most Powerful People In Entertainment”. Vince McMahon, who has been featured on the list before was dropped off this year. They claimed that he was dropped off the list due to WWE losing the case to the World Wildlife Fund, in which forced the big name change, due to the fact that The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin bailed on him, because he was sued by Nicole Bass, and due to the fact that he lost his bonus due to the company’s finances. It was announced that Entertainment Weekly did not even mention the company’s low ratings or lackluster fiscal period."
ChrisMWaters Posted October 13, 2002 Report Posted October 13, 2002 Hopefully that will be a message to Vince McMahon: Retirement is now for you. Think about it...at least Vince McMahon Sr. knew when to call it quits. He gave the company to Vince Jr. after 20 years of WWWF/WWF. Now...it's time for Vince Jr. to pass it on to Shane. (NOT Stephanie...no way in hell). Hell, it's been over 20 years since Vince Jr. took over...
Guest Anglesault Posted October 13, 2002 Report Posted October 13, 2002 THIS JUST IN: EW got a message from a rather large balding blond man that read "Screw the Pandas-uh, it's all Jericho's fault-uh" More updates to come.

Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted October 13, 2002 Report Posted October 13, 2002 Your "reasons" are Test. And Stephanie has HHH. Why can't any McMahon be a fan of Angle, Eddy, Benoit, RVD or someone people want to see?
Guest Anglesault Posted October 13, 2002 Report Posted October 13, 2002 Your "reasons" are Test. You LIE
ChrisMWaters Posted October 13, 2002 Report Posted October 13, 2002 Guys, think about it this way: You know it's either gonna be Shane or Stephanie that takes over the business when Vince either retires or kicks the bucket. Which one would you rather have: Stephanie, who makes terrible storylines and bores the hell out of people...or Shane, who is off WWE TV right now because he realizes how bad the company is doing?
Guest Anglesault Posted October 13, 2002 Report Posted October 13, 2002 Why can't any McMahon be a fan of Angle, Eddy, Benoit, RVD or someone people want to see? I actually heard that Vince really likes Kurt. ::Looks at Kurt Angle.:: Yeah, Vince runs that company. /sarcasm
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted October 13, 2002 Report Posted October 13, 2002 I'd prefer the company be buried with Vince. Of course at the rate business is going...Vince had better die soon.
ChrisMWaters Posted October 13, 2002 Report Posted October 13, 2002 I'd prefer the company be buried with Vince. Of course at the rate business is going...Vince had better die soon. *Ponders if Smarks were saying the same thing back in the early-mid 90's*
Guest Mulatto Heat Posted October 13, 2002 Report Posted October 13, 2002 They were saying similar things about WCW in 1999... and look what happened.
Guest Cataclysm911 Posted October 13, 2002 Report Posted October 13, 2002 Let it be known, no matter how bad wrestling gets, I will never wish death on anyone. That was just terrible.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted October 13, 2002 Report Posted October 13, 2002 I swear...WWE would have died had it not been for Austin.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted October 13, 2002 Report Posted October 13, 2002 Go back and read it again. I didn't wish death on anything but the company after Vince goes. The analogy was that the business was dying faster.
Guest the pinjockey Posted October 13, 2002 Report Posted October 13, 2002 I swear...WWE would have died had it not been for Austin. WHOA WHOA WHOA. You mean it really wasn't D-X that saved the company and made people not watch Nitro anymore?
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted October 13, 2002 Report Posted October 13, 2002 Uh-oh...their going ot be on to the fact that I'm not completely brainwashed now... *hides*
Guest Trivia247 Posted October 13, 2002 Report Posted October 13, 2002 Paul Heyman should pull a Coup De ta and Take over WWE from Shane.
Guest the pinjockey Posted October 13, 2002 Report Posted October 13, 2002 Next thing you know you are going to be telling me that HHH really wouldn't have saved WCW singlehandedly.
ChrisMWaters Posted October 13, 2002 Report Posted October 13, 2002 Paul Heyman should pull a Coup De ta and Take over WWE from Shane. If that DOES happen, let's hope that Happy Heyman does NOT make the same mistakes that he did when he was in charge of ECW.
Guest Mulatto Heat Posted October 13, 2002 Report Posted October 13, 2002 I swear...WWE would have died had it not been for Austin. WHOA WHOA WHOA. You mean it really wasn't D-X that saved the company and made people not watch Nitro anymore? Of COURSE it was! And you know who was the leader of D-X after WM 14, don't you? Remember, even though he was nothing but a midcarder for most of the Ratingzzzz Warzzzz, the WWF would have DIED, DIED I say, if WCW had THE GAME-AHHH!!!
ChrisMWaters Posted October 13, 2002 Report Posted October 13, 2002 Next thing you know you are going to be telling me that HHH really wouldn't have saved WCW singlehandedly. Oh, he might have... . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . IN HHH'S WILDEST FANTASIES! HA! Ok...that was stupid.
Guest alfdogg Posted October 13, 2002 Report Posted October 13, 2002 I hate HHH. I echo this man's opinion.
ChrisMWaters Posted October 13, 2002 Report Posted October 13, 2002 I hate HHH. Shouldn't that, with the I changed to We, be the motto of the SmartMarks?
Guest Hogan Made Wrestling Posted October 13, 2002 Report Posted October 13, 2002 Paul Heyman should pull a Coup De ta and Take over WWE from Shane. Right, because bankrupt westling bookers that live in their parents basements have such a good track record taking over large, publicly held companies...
Guest Anglesault Posted October 13, 2002 Report Posted October 13, 2002 I hate HHH. I echo this man's opinion. SO DO I! OMG, what a coincidence! We should, like, form an internet stable, called the HHHaters, and band together to hate HHH!
Guest The Man in Blak Posted October 13, 2002 Report Posted October 13, 2002 <cameo> Eh. It's been done. </cameo>
Guest Brian Posted October 13, 2002 Report Posted October 13, 2002 Shane's supposedly a big fan of the in-ring work and cruiserweights. Shane trusts other's opinions far ,ore than Steph does. I'm stillwaiting for Heyman to go ttoally wild with the book. Forty minute sit-down interview with Douglas was one of my favorite things he did in ECW. I thought Shane, Angle, and Test drove together. I saw them at a SmackDown taping come in together.
Guest Zero_Cool Posted October 13, 2002 Report Posted October 13, 2002 It kinda makes sense that Shane's a big fan of in-ring work...since he's always busted his ass in the ring, falling off tall things too. Shane should pull a powerplay and push for Angle to carry the company. Maybe it would work.
