Guest Kotzenjunge Report post Posted October 14, 2002 Actually, I was thinking of more of a school subject-like folder the other day and this brought it back to the forefront of the brain. Since we've got so many people in school of some kind still, why not a folder for help and information and such? I could be the SOCIAL STUDIES MOD~! of the place or something. It could also allow us to discuss history, science, philosophy and stuff like that. I don't see it being much more frequented than Porno or Food, but it'd still get traffic I think. Just an idea. Because Current Events attracts more of the post-college crowd, who are likely to have played the market or at least have something of a portfolio. General Chat draws people from all over the board, a lot of whom are under 18 and may not have any interest in the market, let alone be active in it. Heck, I don't really follow and play the market THAT much. I'm all about the mutual funds and money markets, since they're less vulnerable to fluctuations in the Dow and can still be played aggressively for the long-term.
