Guest pinnacleofallthingsmanly Report post Posted October 14, 2002 I know it's kind of early, but I'm curious to hear people's thoughts regarding this. The thing that made me think of this was an old Computer Gaming Monthly magazine that talked about Freedom Force and Jedi Knight Outcast. They were talking abou them as Game of the Year candidates. I'm kind of curious to see how people feel certain games stack up and how people think the next batch of games to come out will stack up.

Guest GeneMean Report post Posted October 15, 2002 Freedom Force was such a great PC game. I would definately consider that one on the short list of PC games of the year. Jedi Knight 2 was an excellent title. However, I was displeased with the Quake-ish AI. Still any game that let's you chop stuff up along side Luke Skywalker is all good in the end. Right now I'm in the middle of NOLF2 and loving it. I've only tried the demo of UT2K3 and wasn't impressed enough to rush out and purchase it. I'll wait for the mod makers to churn out some fun stuff before I buy it. Future PC games: I'm looking forward to James Bond:Nightfire and hoping it gets done right. Of course I'm looking forward to Doom 3 (although I'm not looking forward to buying a new vidcard to get a decent FR for it) and I'm eagerly awaiting the end of my social life when Star Wars Galaxies is released next year.
