It has to be something from fairly early in his tenure. Probably, vs. Flair from Superbrawl VI or if you want to go later vs. DDP at Halloween Havoc '97.

From what I've seen, vs. DDP @ Havoc 97. Savage was basically getting too old and was wrestling the wrong people to get anything about ****.

Savage was horrific in WCW. There isn't a single match that he had there that I would ever want to see again.

I think carrying Dennis Rodman to a ** match is probably the best performance Savage put on during his entire WCW tenure

I'd say his match with Flair at Starrcade '95 was tight.

Yesh, the latest you want to go is Havoc in 1997. He was too old to be in there with anyone around his age. I still think he could pull off great matches with guys in the WWE like Rock, Benoit, Angle or even Austin, but then again, who can't?

Anything with DDP - Spring Stampede, GAB, and esp. Havoc 97.

 

The Starrcade 95 match with Flair was good but not because of anything Savage did - basically just because Flair bladed huge and the Horsemen helped him win. Or at least that's what I liked about it. Not near as good as their WrestleMania VIII match, IMO.

 

SuperBrawl VI was better. I'm not a huge fan of it basically because the world title was being traded every few weeks so I'm not able to see the match for what it really is ... the blind rage just gets in the way.
