Austin disappears, then Angle disappears and then Rock disappears. None of them are seen before No Mercy. No Mercy, which was Angle/Austin/RVD, Jericho/Rock is changed to RVD/Jericho for both titles. But, during the main event. Austin comes out, then Angle comes out, then Rock comes out. All three storm the ring and end the match. The following night, they explain that they disappeared to hear from a wise man. They declare that the WWF/Alliance war has gone on for too long and since it's a Vince v. Shane thing, the wrestlers are fighting instead of the owners, causing harm to their careers. They state that they are here to end the war. They offer both sides a chance to co-exist. This isn't accepted, so at Survival Series, the main event is.. WWF: Jericho, Kane and Undertaker Alliance: RVD, Booker and Shane Peace: Angle, Austin and Rock If the WWF wins, the Alliance leaves If the Alliance wins, the WWF leaves If the Peace Squad wins, both sides must co-exist and end their feud.
