From what I've seen from Mr. Perfect since he came back, he's been drunk looking at WWF NY, and drunk looking and poor wrestling (relatively) against Austin. AND he wore his trunks backwards. Maybe they are going for an alcoholic Perfect angle.

 

On second thought maybe watch Leaving Las Vegas and Raw back to back wasn' the best idea.

Austin and HHH proably are making him do this angle because of the Royal Rumble, when he did the gum swat while being double-teamed. That's not just perfect, my friends, that's as SK would say, spiffy!

I don't like the use of Perfect right now either.  He started out great with his Rumble performance.  Since then he was said to have filmed to vignettes according to JR so maybe those will begin to air soon.

 

I'm just wondering why JR said that Perfect challenged Austin over the weekend for the match on Monday when nothing was mentioned about it all weekend.  Were they punishing him with a squash?

I don't think it was a punishment...hell, he was in the Main Event, and he kept getting put over by the announcers before the match.

 

In fact, I think it might have been a test to see if Perfect can still work the Main Event. Why else would they suddenly throw him in the Main Event with Austin? It looks like Perfect didn't pass, so it's back to mid-card hell for him. Probably.

Maybe it is punishment.  It just seemed like they had plans for him letting him be one of the final 3 in the Rumble.  But has he even won a single match since then?!

The match with Austin was pretty much a squash too.  Perfect got in a little offence but very little.

I agree that he seemed drunk at his WWF NY appearance.  I didn't think he looked drunk on Raw, but the match was poor.

I also thought Perfect seemed drunk at WWF NY. I'm not really surprised the WWF hasn't done much with him due to their booking. They just wasted money on a guy they probably just signed to keep him from being some new promotions top star.

I thought it was pretty funny that he appeared to be loaded from WWFNY live on Pay Per View.  Especially after Crash got into trouble for drinking there.

I think/hope that this is just Vince's stupid humbling thing that he does to evry guy he brings in, I think it is a test to see what his attitude towards jobbing is.

When did he wear hid tights backwards, I think I would have noticed if the triangle of different color was on his chest.

I don't think Vince is trying to humble Perfect. Perfect's been there before. So he knows the rules. I think Vince signed him to keep him away from any upstart promotion.

True.. there were also a few Nitros where he was visibly drunk.  So it sucked to see him like that again.
