PWTorch Vs The Wrestling Observer

Myself and a freind have been going half on the PWTorch newsletter for almost a year now and recently we decided to try out Wrestling's most respected journalist's newsletter..thinking that yes, his site is pretty low on content so that must mean his newsletter is excellent (and he does look like a badass on his site, hey?)

 

How wrong we were

 

We only subscribed to one set of four issues (thankfully, I won't be resubscribing) and the last 3 have been really poor, even more so when you compare them to Keller's newsletter.

 

If you're a fan of reading results of Japanese wrestling and Mixed Martial Arts and backstage news (stuff he's already talked about on the LAW) without any kind of structure, you'll probably like Meltzer's work.

 

If you want a nice blend of excellent in depth interviews, serious/funny editorials, news bits and reviews then get the PWTorch the next time they have a special offer going.

 

Anyway, that's just my opinion but after reading the Torch, I was really disapointed with the Observer.

Its a close margin for me for the Torch. I am very glad i read both. Even with all the info you can get on the net, I'm still partial to having something in my hands that im reading.
