Guest Ravenbomb Posted October 15, 2002 Report Posted October 15, 2002 from 411wrestling The two new movies from the Matrix franchise, Matrix Reloaded and Matrix Revolutions, will apparently be released with only a few months between them, says producer Joel Silver. Silver stated that the cliffhanger ending of Matrix Reloaded is so good that fans will be desperate to see Matrix Revolutions. Silver: "I think we won't even have to advertise the third film, we'll just tell people the date, and they'll come. The story is so fantastic." Reloaded is set to open May 15th, 2003, and Revolutions will likely follow in October. The movies were originally set to open a year apart, one in 2002 and one in 2003, but have been delayed consistently since earlier this year. Silver: "You're not going to want to wait for the next movie, so we want to release them as close as we can together. The cliffhanger is so substantial you will want to see it soon, and we're aware of that."
