Guest nikowwf Report post Posted October 15, 2002 Ok, from what I can see the whole point of this retarded Kane angle is to have Kane appear to be a crazy monster who has a great chance of dethroning HHH. This was accomplished pretty well by TLC I thought. After that, all they needed to do was have him beat up HHH pretty bad this week, and the point would have been made. BUT NO. The WWE had to do a murder angle, have HHH call him a necrophiliac rapist, make fun of the relationship Kane had with his dead girlfriend, repeat 1,000 times that Kane was a murderer and try to "pyschologically gain an advantage" over him. All of this so it would backfire and Kane would snap and be more violent than ever. Two shows dominated by CRAP that could have been replaced with one beatdown in the ring of HHH by Kane. And the worst part is the angle was so convuluted and impossible to follow that they accomplished none of what they were trying to do. Niko

Guest notJames Report post Posted October 15, 2002 Add to the fact that a) they've conveniently re-written Kane's past to custom-fit this deus ex machina, and b) that this was all done six days before the PPV, and you've got a severe case of paper napkin overbooking. I mean, how are we as an audience supposed to invest any feelings into any of this when we are neither given the time to let it sink in nor are given anything substantive to work with? It's a bad soap opera angle (redundant, I know)... what the fuck does this have to do with wrestling?!?!? Are you sure Russo isn't working for Vinnie Mac again?!? Guest Pop Culture God Report post Posted October 15, 2002 One of the big plotholes: Who "gave" HHH this information? Or is he just so "cerebral" that beating a guy with the sledge isn't good enough.
