I've heard that all 2002 WWE VHS videos are recorded in EP speed. This true?

Yessum.

I have Mania and Backlash and they're both EP...and I checked a few others in the stores, all EP. The VQ definatly suffers, it's very easy to see.

If they're giving the fans a shittier product then the RIGHT then to do would be to lower the price...but then why would they do that.

They probably did it to save a buck...

ECW did the same thing...their tapes they'd sell at shows use to be on SP...then around 2000 they put them all on EP

Because DVD's are cheaper to produce than tapes and cost more.

Yeah, exactly.

The price for DVDs over Tapes I can understand though. I mean, they do have many more features than tapes do.

Well that sucks! What I've usually done over the past years is rent ppv's from video stores and record them on VHS. The only ppv I've ever bought was Summerslam 2001. Not sure how well it'd work if the tapes are shitty EP ones.

Completly off topic:

CMW that is probably the hottest picture of Molly Holly in this entire world. I never thought she was ugly or anything but that pic makes her look hot. Anyway continue on.....

Topic:

WWE fucks the fan every chance they get, nuff said.

There is that. Also because 3-4 hours in SP makes for a really thin tape, making it more suceptible to breaking. Now, they could make it a 2 tape set, but since more people are buying the DVDs now it probably wouldn't be profitable.
