Guest Vern Gagne Report post Posted October 15, 2002 These are the peole I like. Sean Hannity-favorite person on Fox News. They should fire Colmes and let Hannity have is own show. Screw fair and balanced, the people that watch Fox could care less if Colmes is fired. Bill O'Reilly-Can go into kinda dull topics, but overall very good show. These are the people I dislike. Chris Mathews-what happened to this guy. He's turned into a complete bleeding heart liberal. He had Gov't Jackass Ventura on and threw him nothing but Softballs. When he was at VMI, and asked the Cadets if they would fight in Iraq and 99% raised their hands, he was quick to point out they wouldn't fight. Why the hell did you ask...probably because he was hoping half of them would sit on their hands and could point out that even people in the military are questioning the planned attack. Phil Donougue-He's a hack and is lucky if his own family watches his show. Connie Chung-An absolutley horrible interviewer, who seems genuinely clueless about anything she's talking about. Aaron Brown-A cure for insomnia. Alan Colmes-the black sheep of Fox News. He tows the party line alot more than Hannity does, who in the past has critcized Bush and other Republicans. Guest danielisthor Report post Posted October 15, 2002 Sometimes when they have the camera at certain angles, Alan Colmes looks evil, especially with those eyebrows. Hannity is a conservative God. (with that comment, certain people will now believe that i take daily trips to the ABC Radio network and give hand jobs to Hannity in his booth during commercial breaks.) I like O'Reilly and for whatever reason i just can't get into Greta. Something about her bugs me.
Guest DragonflyKid Report post Posted October 15, 2002 MSNBC has to get rid of Donahue, they need to create new stars not get old stars who don't have it anymore. He's way too far left and seems to have people from the left on alot so there is no discussion. Give the timeslot to Holt, Banfield or Abrams, they are all good and can be future stars on a station that needs them. Nachman is alright. I don't watch O'Reilly as much as I used to but when I'm channel surfing I usually stop to hear what topic he's discussing. I like Press and Buchanon on MSNBC. I dislike Brit Hume because he's much too boring. I like the FOX news channel show Newswatch which is only on for half an hour on the weekend. I wouldn't be able to stand Hannity or Colmes alone, they are each too far right or left. Not a fan of Chung. I tune into Brown sometimes, he's not bad. Greta at FOX is great. One of my favs. I liked Gibson since he first had a call in show at MSNBC. I would like to see a show with two guests who have a penchant for getting out of hand during discussions. There is a black gentleman who gets angry easily who is liberal I believe and has had to be cut off several times. There is also a rotund white guy who yells alot and interupts other people and I think he is Conservative. Put them together and you have ratings.
Guest kkktookmybabyaway Report post Posted October 15, 2002 O'Reilly. He may have some boring topics once in a while, but right now he's the man. I love it when a person/group pisses him off because he'll go at them. And on top of that he's funny as hell. There was a Washington Post article about him a while ago that said he has a mat to his office with Hillary Clinton's name/face on it (Can't remember which) and he said that his daughter is about the same age as Jesse Jackson's love child, and O'Reilly added, "but mine's legitimate." LOL Hannity and Colmes. They're OK. I don't watch this show as much as I used to, but strangely enough I liked Colmes better. I disagreed with him more, but he seemed to be the one to side with the conservative viewpoint (albiet after watering the argument down a bit) in some cases. Donahue: HAHAHAHAHAHA, his show has gotten .1 ratings. Don't let the doorknob hit you where the good lord split you. One time I flipped his show on and him and some guy were talking about all the corporate scandals and saying how this all happened when Bush came into office. WTF? Dude, this has been going on for YEARS... Brit Hume: I like him, although he does look like Droopy. When him and the All-Star panel talk current events it's an interesting affair. Chris Matthews: Eh, he's OK. I'll turn him on if there's NOTHING else to watch. And Verne, Chris has had a crush on Jesse V. since he became guv. That's really all the cable news shows I watch. I'll keep Russert on if he has an interesting guest to interview. Oh, and I HATE Shep. Smith and Laurie Dhue with a passion...
Guest The Czech Republic Report post Posted October 16, 2002 Down with Shepard Smith! That's all I can say. That guy is the most annoying person on the station, hands down. Worse than Van Susteren, and any of the news-brief people. He and his show are completely useless and the timeslot could be filled much better. Oh and Bill O'Reilly is cool too. Guest DragonflyKid Report post Posted October 16, 2002 I like Smith, he does light news well. It's not like they have him doing hard-hitting stuff although when there has been breaking news he didn't look out of place. The first thing I remember watching on 9/11 was Smith atop a building reporting the WTC being attacked. I hope you don't mean the beautiful Jane Skinner when mentioning the news-brief people in a negative way. I was very much infatuated with her until I found out she had twins. Guest Cancer Marney Report post Posted October 16, 2002 I still have a major crush on Paula Zahn. Her smile is incredible.
Guest kkktookmybabyaway Report post Posted October 16, 2002 Zahn -- hahahahahaha... She's SEXY -- CNN even said so. I don't give a crap about Jane Skinner. I HATE Laurie Dhue, aka the Lilian Garcia (sp?) of Fox News. I hate her personal comments and I laugh when she screws up. How does she have a job? Oh yeah, I forgot. Boobs... Guest EricMM Report post Posted October 16, 2002 Donahue is like, pure bias. Like, if you want to know what bias in it's physical form is, it's Phil Donahue. Sheesh.
Guest Spaceman Spiff Report post Posted October 16, 2002 Heather Nauert on Fox is a hottie. She's usually on between 5:30 and 6:00 PM on Gibson's show (or, at least that's the only time I see her on)
Guest ISportsFan Report post Posted October 16, 2002 O'Reilly is the man. He is on pretty much every night, and delivers the goods. I'm laughing a lot, and he is good with bringing up tough issues. I disagree with him a lot, but he's the man. Jason
Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted October 16, 2002 O'Reilly can make a good debate, but the problem is that this guy goes on about how he's getting rid of spin, then applies a nice layer of spin on his own. Chris Matthews is either great or awful depending on who he's interviewing. I appreciated his attempts at grilling Boy George's speechwriter to find out who came up with this whole Axis of Evil hitlist, although the guy just towed the ludicrous idea that GW is deciding all of this stuff by himself. Guest danielisthor Report post Posted October 16, 2002 Oh, and I HATE Shep. Smith and Laurie Dhue with a passion... But Laurie Dhue is very cute as is the woman (who's name escapes me) who does the news briefs during Fox and Friends.
Guest kkktookmybabyaway Report post Posted October 16, 2002 "But Laurie Dhue is very cute as is the woman (who's name escapes me) who does the news briefs during Fox and Friends." I don't give a crap if she's cute or not. I hate her. In fact, I hate just about every anchor-babe out there. Just because someone looks good in front of a camera they get a job -- that's why I'm a print guy... Anyone see O'Reilly tonight take on that guy with the new book bashing him and Bork? Gold. I was laughing every other second...
Guest Olympic Slam Report post Posted October 16, 2002 "Anyone see O'Reilly tonight take on that guy with the new book bashing him and Bork? Gold. I was laughing every other second" That's one of the first interviews I've seen in a loooong time where Bill actually got the person he was interviewing to admit he was wrong about something. Amazing. Proves that O'Reilly is indeed, the man.

Guest Agent of Oblivion Report post Posted October 16, 2002 The cutest girl I've seen in any kind of news capacity is this one chick on the weather channel. I have no idea what her name is, and I don't really care about the weather that much, but when I'm flipping stations, sometimes I pause for a few.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted October 16, 2002 I only watch headline news and the occasional CNN when something big is happening.
Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted October 16, 2002 Heh. I go to sleep at odd times (like, almost now, at 4:34 AM my time.) I admit to watching CNN pretty often than not, either the Paula Zahn show or the show before that depending what hour I go to bed. I'm not a big fan of American Morning really (and flip to Fox or back whenever one or the other goes to commercial) but it's better than Imus (I can't stand him for whatever reasons, and I also don't like televised radio shows because they're usually visual boredom). If I go to bed at 2 or 3 in the morning though, then all is good. For some reason, the CNN Daybreak anchor has a voice that is perfect for putting me to sleep. And I say that in the nicest way possible.
Guest hardyz1 Report post Posted October 16, 2002 I've seen two episodes of Donahue. One was with Ann Coulter (which was interesting) and one with Barry McCaffery, Gary Johnson, and some other pro-legalization guy. McCaffery was outnumbered, so it was good TV. Guest DragonflyKid Report post Posted October 16, 2002 Anybody like Geraldo? I liked when he was reporting from Afghanistan and places in the mid-east and got where others didn't go. I don't dislike his weekend show but he does seem to have an ego and be disingenuous at times. Signing the shorts of Hooter waitresses while they were in them near a sniper crime scene then going on air talking as if he is so sensitive is BS.

Guest Some Guy Report post Posted October 16, 2002 Donahue is a whiny moron. I can't listen to someone cry for an hour about nothing and then reach over and jerk off the Pinko he's interviewing. O'Reilly is pretty good but his arrogance and when he starts riding his high horse get annoying. Hannity and Colmes is pretty good usually. Colmes is fucking scary looking though. I hate Crossfire. Guest Cancer Marney Report post Posted October 16, 2002 [Geraldo] does seem to have an ego and be disingenuous at times Seems to have an ego? Disingenuous at times? That was sarcasm, right? Geraldo is the one of the worst excuses for lying tawdry disrespectful scum-sucking bottom-feeding filth I've ever seen pretending to be a journalist in my life, and if all Al Qaeda wants to do is kill Americans I'll turn him over in a heartbeat and I'll do so JOYFULLY. grrr. Guest kkktookmybabyaway Report post Posted October 17, 2002 "If liberal slanted shows are your thing than you probably would like the daily show." I don't watch the Daily Show much anymore, but when I did (year or so ago) it didn't seem THAT slanted. Hell, even when they made fun of conservatives it wasn't like they deserved it. I loved those correspondent interviews...
