Guest Ace309 Report post Posted October 16, 2002 On the old boards, there was a "Most Expressive Photo" thread. In it, someone posted a photo of (iirc) Tenzan standing on the second turnbuckle, head hanging like he'd just lost his best friend. Someone explained that, in fact, he had. I wish I had more detail here, but I seem to remember it being a particularly powerful image, so if someone knows what I'm talking about and could dig it up, along with an explanation, I'd be forever in your debt and always give you my last Altoid. Guest cynicalprofit Report post Posted October 16, 2002 ive got it, you got an email? Sadly no explanation, despite the fact im the one who ask for it. But it was something about someone leaving or retiring.
Guest CED Ordonez Report post Posted October 16, 2002 The picture was from Satoshi Kojima's NJPW farewell match (Kojima was about to jump to All Japan) back in January 24(?), making it the final stand of the TenKoji (Tenzan/Kojima) tag team. They beat I think Kensuke Sasaki and another guy and after the match, IIRC, Tenzan gave a fairly emotional in-ring speech stating along the lines that "TenKoji is forever". They were tag team partners for a long time, so I'm sure the sentiments were legit.

Guest Pegasus Kid Report post Posted October 22, 2002 That "someone" would be me. The picture you're looking for can be found at The Photo Battle (just chop off the URL after /photobattle to get back to the main page). I'd bookmark that site. Photo Battle is one of the best sites you'll ever come across for great pictures from recent shows in Japan.
