Guest Goodear Report post Posted October 16, 2002 At The Melon Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania the production crew is preparing for yet another stellar edition of SJL Crimson. A hoard of personal are wandering about in organized chaos, yet all of them know what needs to be down in order to put together a wrestling show of the highest order. An outside door opens and in walks the not-quite-so-eager reporter, Ben Hardy, having mostly recovered from the beating that Logan gave him just over a week ago. A piece of white gauze is wrapped around Ben's forehead, but he doesn't appear to be any worse for wear. Hardy actually has a pretty big smile on his face, having finally returned to work after a brief convalesance... but the smile quickly fades... "Hey Ben. How are you?" asks Ejiro Fasaki as he folds up his copy of The Pro Wrestling Torch. Sitting by the door, Ejiro appears to have been waiting for Ben for sometime. "What do you want, Fasaki?" Hardy asks with an accusitory tone in his voice. "Woah there sport, why all the hostility? I just wanted to be here and welcome you back to our hallowed halls," replies Ejiro with a little grin on his face. "Why all the hostility? WHY? Because you basically fed me to the lions, Fasaki. You let me get my ass kicked by Logan." "Let you? Look, Hardy, you asked me where Logan was. You didn't ask if Logan was a psychotic killing machine. If you had, I would have told you. Don't blame me because ..." Hardy interupts, "Well then don't blame me for what's going to happen to you." "What do you mean by that?" asks Ejiro. "I mean, don't blame me when Logan breaks you in half." "Why would Logan..." "Because you have a match against him in a hardcore match... right here in Pittsburgh." "What? But... uh... he... uh... geh... WHAT DID I DO?" "Maybe its what you didn't do..." Hardy trails off as he steps past Fasaki and into the bowels of The Melon Arena. Leaving Ejiro standing there, alone and flustered. And Fasaki has just one last thing to say before the camera fades away. "I'm so dead." Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I'm a little suspicious, though, because any angle based around Ben Hardy, a commentator whose sole duty is to get clobbered by the heels, being clobbered by a heel is inherently suspect. It's a well-written promo, and I like the look at Ejiro. I hope to see some kind of payoff for this in the way you write the match.
