Tenay and West kick it off by running down the title matches for tonight.

 

Then they show a video package previewing other match histories. The first is Siaki and Estrada, with Siaki burning the Elvis suit.

 

Ooh...they have WWE style matchup screens now.

 

That's pretty neat.

 

Then they show the history for Sadler/JAmes vs. JJ/Bruce.

Mike Tenay and a silk gold shirt and tie combo clad Don West open up the show as usual, and run down all the matches for tonight. Note: they have new match up graphics more like the WWE standards. Nice touch actually.

 

Opening interview (backstage)

 

Goldylocks interviews Jorge Estrada. He mumbles some crap about his match tonight with SS and introduces his new valet, 'Pricilla'. Brian Lawler interupts, looking for April. He leaves, and we see April leave a room with Syxx-Pac...

 

 

Opening Match: David Young vs Brian Lawler

I feel bad for Young.

 

I think he has a pretty good look and is pretty solid in the ring...

 

but he gets stuck with the worst matches

We start off with a give and go from both guys. Young has a decent look to him, but I don't what it is, he just seems like he's missing something. This match is pretty boring actually, much like all of Lawler's TNA matches. Same crap, mixed in with the 'girlfriend' drama.

Young should win this match for a simple reason.

 

Young was the guy in the first weeks who was always distracted in his matches...and now he's focused. Lawler is now always distracted.

 

Yound should win so that it would show that being focused actually matters.

Since I didnt see Young during the first few shows, I cant really comment on his work then. But I have to agree with you, Young should get this. He looks impressive so far but.....

 

oh and look, Lawler gets the win.

Well...that was bad.

 

There was a brief moment in the middle where Young hit 4 moves in a row...and the match was good...

 

then it went back to being a Lawler match.

He should get some good heat for beating on Lynn's leg all night.

Sonny Siaki looks great. But still, I cant shake the uncanny resemblance to The Rock. The hair, the look, the 3rd person. Hrmm, I dunno..

 

Still though, a Siaki/Lynn match up looks promising.

Actually, I like this little sit down interview, even if it is Syxx-Pac. I have to admit, TNA has really stepped up its game with the production of this show.

Time for the Siaki vs. Estrada match.

 

I like the sit down interviews too.

 

They should have one every week so that people can get to know the talent.

 

I like it far better than a segment for the Dupps, or Disco or whatever.

I think the AJ/Pac match will be real good if Pac really wants to prove he still has something to offer.

 

AJ always brings a ton of effort into the ring with him...if PAc does too...then it should be good.
