OK...just joking around, but at the beginning of this year, the day after Royal Rumble 2002...I distinctly remember that Austin said he would enter Royal Rumble 2003.

So either 2 Possibilities:

1) (Most Likely)WWE forgets about it and puts someone else in that spot or

2)WWE BEGS Austin to come back and he returns at Royal Rumble 2003.

Yes it's a pointless topic, but hey, I'm bored. ^^;

I think that you're thinking about 5 months further ahead than WWF is right now

Believe it or not, this has been brought up. Still funny in hindsight.

Huh...must have been before my time.

Course, I've been here on this forum less than a month, so most discussed topics are before my time.

Chris, your sig pic stops me every time without fail. You join Niko as one of my favorite posters in the "damn good eye candy in their sig" category.

Anyway, they'll forget that statement ever happened. You are talking about a company that had two people look past their differences and become allies two weeks after one of them attempted to kill the other with an 18-Wheeler. And I doubt they even remember *that* ever happening either.

you know Rikishi was the one driving the semi... it just happened to LOOK LIKE Hogan jumped in the driver seat...

the new RR2003 entrant: Downhome!

Knowing the WWE, they'll just forget Austin even said that, and someone else will take his place. Who? I don't really know.

Austin's being replaced by whoever wins the Royal Rumble spot in OVW.

Even if Austin was still around, i'm sure the WWE would have forgotten about him entering the 2003 Rumble and given him a Title match at the PPV or something like that.

this, no doubt, is a perfect time for the return of DWAYNE GILL, dressed the exact same, but this time, with two kneebraces, and a six-pack of beer, to enter the rumble as "NOT QUITE STONE COLD" or something of the like.. and get eliminated in record time by whoever the ovw royal rumble entrant turns out to be.

i also want to say that chris, you have the BEST damn signature on this board. *worships molly*. where'd you get the picture anyway? i'm too lazy to search around for it.

A friend of mine scanned it from the Diva's Undressed magazine.

So if you want it for your own, get that magazine!

That's probably why they are having this tournament in the first place.

Nah, it'll be Austin.

He can't, and they won't pass up a chance to give that deserving young up and comer a Rumble victory. He needs it, y'know.

I like the idea of having Dwayne Gill dress up as Stone Cold.

Imagine the coolness if they have a "mystery entrant" announced for the Rumble aside from the OVW guy, and all of a sudden Austin's music hits and out walks Dwayne Gill.

Actually, that would probably incite a riot and garbage barage on the ring..

I'd better clarify.

I miss the old Austin. The 98/99 one, when he was still fresh and entertaining.

After that he was stale, and a parody of himself. (Playing Superman, the WHAT? chants, etc..).

It did seem like he won the Rumble every time it came around, though.

Austin's bid for the 2003 Rumble is locked away in the same mental foot locker as Kane's years in the mental institution.

Maybe Austin's spot will be taken by the OVW entrant?

Hey, anything can happen in the WWE, so maybe Austin will return before the Royal Rumble.

Sheez, dude, that'd be kinda hard when the Rumble is only three months away.

Yea, the Hurricane rules!

Anyway, there's more than enough people on the roster that this isn't a problem. I don't even think Justin Credible was IN Royal Rumble 2K2 what with all the "guest stars". I say they should have another Gimmick Battle Royal, that was a lot of fun.

Since we're on the topic of the Royal Rumble, who does everyone think will win it? I think Angle, RVD, Benoit, or Edge will win the Royal Rumble.
