Just checked out WrestleCrap for the first time in awhile and I thought this would make a good post.....

 

Whats the worst......

 

1) Match ever

2) Angle ever

3) Event ever

4) Wrestler ever

5) Personality ever

6) Promotion of a product ever.......examples are like commercials for ppvs, a certain vignette, etc

6. Easily Konnans music video. They ran it endlessly, I wanted to throw things at the tv every time it was one and always left me wondering how a poor wrestler like him got such big promotion.

1-UT vs. Big Bossman, it was at WM, for chrissakes.

 

2-Who drove the Hummer?

 

3-Although Heroes of Wrestling was technically worse, in terms of a major company, nothing compares to Great American Bash 91.

 

4-Giant Gonzalez-He couldn't bump, sell, or do moves.

 

5-Either Kevin Sullivan or Todd Pettengill

 

6-Easily the Sullivan vignette preceding the wargames at 95 Fall Brawl between Hogan's Heroes and The Dungeon of Dung. Sullivan bashes a Hogan action figure with a shovel in the middle of a video package that is like a horrible acid trip.

1) Worst matches I've ever seen would be any of those random "hardcore" garbage matches. Just random matches, like Brian Knobbs vs. The Demon or Saturn vs. Crash. I mean there is no flow, no story, no heat, no skill, no point. Just two guys walking around and hitting each other with various objects. And what makes it worse was that some of these things have NO BUSINESS being near a wrestling ring.

 

2) Things that creep too far into the real-life realm, such as Big Show's dying father, Big Show's a bastard and his mom's a ho, Mark Henry sleeps with his sister, So-and-so is pregnant, etc., always suck. But the top one would have to be Kane the Killer.

 

3) Does RAW qualify as an event? If so, then the RAW when Undertaker was going to embalm Steve Austin would be up there.

 

4) Maybe he's not the worst, but William Regal just bores me to death. I cannot think of one match he's had that was entertaining. I mean guys like Zeuss and Brakkus and them are bad, but at least there's the possibility that they'll do something entertaining, even if it's just a feat of strength. But to his credit, Regal's great as an on-air personality.

 

5) Vince Russo as an on-air power figure in WCW.

 

6) The whole selling of the Invasion as an actual threat to people's lives. As JR would say, "God bless our WWF souls!"

1) Probably Patterson/Brisco from KOTR 2000 just because I was in Boston seeing it live and it was a disgrace to wrestling.

2) Probably either this Kane/HHH Murder Angle or Mae Young/Mark Henry

3) Hmmm, tough call. From what I've seen, KOTR 95.

4) Viscera.

5) Hmmm...Michael Cole seems about right.

6) Damn, this is a really tough one...but I think Konnan wins this vote.
