Guest Razor Roman Posted October 17, 2002 Report Posted October 17, 2002 Yahoo news The only question remains... will they put the other 3 Roger Rabbit shorts on it? (As my "The Best of Roger Rabbit" VHS is wearing thin, and I can't afford the Laser Disc version on Ebay)
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 17, 2002 Report Posted October 17, 2002 the fark headline sums up my feelings - "Deluxe "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" DVD to hit the shelves in the spring. No word on whether they cut the nude Jessica Rabbit frame." Its a good movie, but I think they need to do a lot of touchups to make it look better and not just add extra footage thats gonna look light years better and therefore stand out like a sore thumb.
Guest Razor Roman Posted October 17, 2002 Report Posted October 17, 2002 I agree - a digital restoration should be in order, and is nothing less than the best movie ever* deserves. (* my opinion only)
Guest Kagato Otaku Posted October 17, 2002 Report Posted October 17, 2002 Question: will they put the other 3 Roger Rabbit shorts on it? (As my "The Best of Roger Rabbit" VHS is wearing thin, and I can't afford the Laser Disc version on Ebay) Answer: Marshall, who also directed parts of the three Roger Rabbit theatrical cartoon shorts that were produced in subsequent years and will be included on the DVD
Guest C.H.U.D. Posted October 18, 2002 Report Posted October 18, 2002 I can't wait, this is one of my top 3 favourite movies of all time.
Guest Razor Roman Posted October 18, 2002 Report Posted October 18, 2002 Does anyone other than me own the miserable disappointment that is the original WFRR DVD?
Guest C.H.U.D. Posted October 19, 2002 Report Posted October 19, 2002 Does anyone other than me own the miserable disappointment that is the original WFRR DVD? Yeah, I do. I bought it right away, cuz I'm such a big fan. The damn DVD didn't even have the trailer mentioned on the back of the box.
