Not saying that Naimark is crooked, but Shamrock didn't bracket the tournament so accusing him of fighting mainly bad opponents is weak.

Well, in his reviews of Shamrock's UFC career he complained Shammy was fighting tomato cans. Well as long as he's in a tourny match, it ain't his fault. Oh, and I know Shammy's shameless self-promotion and extremely conservative tactics, but remember this is an OPINION piece. I don't take any of them at their word and I only read them for the sole purpose of mentally counter-pointing my own opinion with theirs.

Shamrock did fight a lot of poor fighter during his non-Pancrase career. You can watch Pride X, which was his most aggresive fight, and see him just give seven minutes in like a bitch. You can watch him against Frye lately and watch him be incredibly conservative. Shamrock was basically a piece of shit. He talked a big game but he rarely brought it. He was basically beating up on weaker guys nonetheless.

Guest razazteca Posted October 18, 2002 Report Posted October 18, 2002 the Fight with in Pride 10 Return of Warrior of Shamrock vs Fujita, Ken went all out punching and had the fight won with Fujita being bruise by the strikes. But Ken threw in the towel due to either his history of punching to hard and breaking his hand or he simply punched himself out.
Guest Brian Posted October 18, 2002 Report Posted October 18, 2002 No he was fatigued. But he didn't have that match won. He threw eevrything and the kitchen sink at him, and fujita just kept on coming. When they break at the end, Fujita's just like "What the Fuck?".
