What does everyone think about their state..

It sucks. We've got a tax and spend Jackass for a Governor. Two liberal big spending Senators. Three worn out Representatives and even one Republican is alittle to moderate for my liking.

There is hope if Norm Coleman, Tim Pawlenty, and John Kline could all win than maybe Minnesota wouldn't be a complete one sided embarassment.

I hate this state of New Jersey. Property taxes are high, my truck insurance is 3times the amount it was when i lived in PA.

The Governor McGreevey has already raised taxes even though he said he wouldn't.

The state senate is a joke.

US Senator's Corzine and Torricelli. enough said the better.

I need to get out of this state fast.

I'm pretty happy w/ my two Senators (Both R's) Dewine and Voinovich. In addition it feels strange having a Rep. Congressman -- Steve Chabot -- since for nearly all my life I had the same Dem. in Pittsburgh...

You want me to talk about the People's Republic of Massachusetts?

We'll be here all day.

Let me just say this: Don't even bother buying a home here unless you want to sell your organs or buy 10,000 lottery tickets.

Being a mindless, liberal democrat, I love New Jersey politics. As for the rest of the state, fuck it.

Well, it's not technically a state, but it's close enough.

Ah, the province of Ontario. We just got rid of our old premier (a conservative), but the name of Mike Harris. Great guy, really (*rolls eyes*), except for the whole gutting of the education system, pissing off ALL the teachers in the province in the progress. Another great thing he did, was when he was first elected, he named Jon Snoblen as education minister. Now, you see, this might not have been such a bad thing, except for the fact that Mr. Snoblen was a high school dropout. Yes, the man in charge of all the schools in the province NEVER FINISHED HIGH SCHOOL.

My entire time in high school was spent with the teachers and the province fighting over basically everything. Two years were spent with 'work to rule' in effect, which basically meant, no extra-curricular activities. No sports, no clubs, nothing. Teachers weren't even supposed to technically help students out after class.

Now, as I mentioned, we got rid of Harris (as he retired), but we're still stuck with another Tory, Ernie Eaves. Now, he seems to be a bit better than Harris, but right now, I'm pretty much fed up with the whole party.

That's my main experience with conservatives in power, too (as I'm too young to remember quite what it was like when Mulrooney was PM), so, if I decide to lean a little towards the left, you'll excuse me.
