Guest Kingpk Posted October 18, 2002 Report Posted October 18, 2002 I'm watching the news and they just had a story on a woman who, to try to teach her son a lesson, made him hold a sign on a street corner that said "I do not do my homework, beep the horn". People are actually accusing this woman of CHILD ABUSE! The kid said he learned his lesson so I guess it worked. No wonder kids today are so fucked up, their parents don't have the balls to do stuff like this.
Guest cynicalprofit Posted October 18, 2002 Report Posted October 18, 2002 Man that is a GOOD idea. Hey it would work.
Guest Slapnuts00 Posted October 18, 2002 Report Posted October 18, 2002 I think that's a little extreme. Not child abuse, but seriously the parents need to get a grip.
Guest Youth N Asia Posted October 18, 2002 Report Posted October 18, 2002 Child abuse? It's a tough call, that could really screw the kid up in the head...that being said I'd kinda like to drive by the kid and splash mud on him...twice
Guest Leena Posted October 18, 2002 Report Posted October 18, 2002 Bah... child abuse. That's seriously a good way to teach your kid a lesson. I applaud her, and fuck our pussified society.
Guest kkktookmybabyaway Posted October 18, 2002 Report Posted October 18, 2002 At least the kid didn't have to hold up an "I Hate Niggers" sign in the ghetto...
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted October 18, 2002 Report Posted October 18, 2002 At least it's better than shocking your kid with a stun gun.
Guest danielisthor Posted October 18, 2002 Report Posted October 18, 2002 I actually think its a good idea.
Guest hardyz1 Posted October 18, 2002 Report Posted October 18, 2002 It would be funny if he would've killed her. Did I say funny? I meant hilarious. That's a, I say, that's a joke, son.
Guest Some Guy Posted October 18, 2002 Report Posted October 18, 2002 I wonder how many times the kid ignored her when she told him to do his homework before she made him do this? I bet it was months and the kid was failing and she figured public humiliation was the way to go. Whatever, if it worked then more power to her.
Guest Samurai_Goat Posted October 18, 2002 Report Posted October 18, 2002 Yea, I wouldn't mind a few more details. Was this some 7 year old kid who forgot to color in his picture for class? Or some 17 year old kid who decided that the manditory out of class project worth 50% of his grade was a waste of his time?
Guest Kingpk Posted October 19, 2002 Report Posted October 19, 2002 About how old was the kid? I'm not really sure, but I think they said he was in JR High, so I'd say 14 or so.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted October 19, 2002 Report Posted October 19, 2002 Oh, if he was in Jr. High, then I have no sympathy for the kid at all. There's no age of children more wretched that the 13-15 sect. Middle school teachers should be allowed to take valium as much as they want, and drink on the job. Got knows I would, surrounded by that many beasts, with their hormones raging out of control.
Guest fk teale Posted October 19, 2002 Report Posted October 19, 2002 Maybe positive reinforcement would've been more effective?
Guest EricMM Posted October 19, 2002 Report Posted October 19, 2002 The "Moms go down, grades go up" news story is, well, it's (sniff) ITS THE MOST TOUCHING STORY EVER (weeps openly)
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted October 19, 2002 Report Posted October 19, 2002 Dude, that is FUCKED up.
Guest Slapnuts00 Posted October 19, 2002 Report Posted October 19, 2002 What the hell kinda website is that?!
Guest kkktookmybabyaway Posted October 20, 2002 Report Posted October 20, 2002 Damn, I knew schooling was competitive in Japan but that's pulling out all the stops...
Guest hardyz1 Posted October 21, 2002 Report Posted October 21, 2002 Ahh, I remember when that site was posted on Fark. Damn funny.
Guest Samurai_Goat Posted October 21, 2002 Report Posted October 21, 2002 I think mom undressing in front of me would be more of a threat than an incentive.
Guest Choken One Posted October 22, 2002 Report Posted October 22, 2002 Good for that kid...Fuck him. Get of the PS2 and do your Algebra.
Guest kkktookmybabyaway Posted October 22, 2002 Report Posted October 22, 2002 "I think mom undressing in front of me would be more of a threat than an incentive." Depends on who your mom is...
Guest Choken One Posted October 22, 2002 Report Posted October 22, 2002 You think Dylan Lee and Brandon Lee will have a different viewpoint of Mommy and daddy's video? Just a question that popped in my head.
