Guest FeArHaVoC Posted October 18, 2002 Report Posted October 18, 2002 With all the talk about the Undertaker's loyalty to WWE and Vince McMahon, there are some interesting details about some possible dealings between Taker and Eric Bischoff in 1996. Around the time when Kevin Nash and Scott Hall jumped to WCW, Mark Calloway aka The Undertaker sent feelers to WCW to see about possible interest. Bischoff reportedly declined to deal with Taker, feeling that much of his draw was his gimmick Credit: Pro Wrestling Torch Newsletter
Guest Brian Posted October 18, 2002 Report Posted October 18, 2002 Oh yeah, I remember that. Undertaker secretely called Bischoff, but he wouldn't take him.
ChrisMWaters Posted October 18, 2002 Report Posted October 18, 2002 Heh, wonder what Vince would think about him if he actually did jump... And yeah...the only reason Undertaker was over is because of his gimmick. Well, his old gimmick anyway. The REAL Deadman was cool. Now...though I can see a biker going by the name the Undertaker, it just doesn't feel right.
Guest TheArchiteck Posted October 18, 2002 Report Posted October 18, 2002 Good, that would have ruined my good ol WCW memories.
Guest Anglesault Posted October 19, 2002 Report Posted October 19, 2002 it just doesn't feel right. ::Lita runs in and kills everyone with her mudercanrannas::
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 19, 2002 Report Posted October 19, 2002 Alternate 1996: Eric Bischoff: Ladies and gentlemen! The Grave Digger! (if the owner of the monster truck didnt sue..)
Guest HartFan86 Posted October 19, 2002 Report Posted October 19, 2002 Damn, Taker wanted to get out when the getting was good. I'm surprised that this "loyalist" would want to jump ship. Now that I think of it, could it be possible that Taker could of been the 3rd man in the nWo?
Guest Nevermortal Posted October 19, 2002 Report Posted October 19, 2002 I guess Bischoff just wasn't feeling it.
Guest AndrewTS Posted October 19, 2002 Report Posted October 19, 2002 Alternate 1996: Eric Bischoff: Ladies and gentlemen! The Grave Digger! (if the owner of the monster truck didnt sue..) Avalache, The Boss/The Man, "Hall" and "Nash"--it would fit.
Guest HartFan86 Posted October 19, 2002 Report Posted October 19, 2002 I guess Bischoff just wasn't feeling it. LOL!

Obviously HHH is the only loyal WWF minion. I mean, he could have SINGLE HANDEDLY saved WCW, but he decided to stay WWF.
