Guest pochorenella Report post Posted October 18, 2002 When is this DVD coming out? The card sounds interesting nonetheless, so I think I'll get it when it comes out. And speaking of new WWE DVDs: SummerSlam 2002 comes out on DVD October 22nd. Can anybody post the extras (if any) for this puppy? I don't want to start another thread for this so I'm asking here. Thanks in advance.

Guest Slapnuts00 Report post Posted October 18, 2002 I visited that silvervision site, I'm assuming that's their Eurpoean retaiter, but I found this announcement: "World Wrestling Entertainment videos and DVDs to be deleted... forever! Due to the court ruling brought by the World Wildlife Fund, and injunction resulting from such a lawsuit, silvervision.co.uk, its parent company Clear Vision Ltd and its mail order outlet Mega Mail, will no longer be able to sell certain World Wrestling Entertainment (previously World Wrestling Federation) Videos and DVD’s. All video and DVD titles will be deleted after the 7th November 2002 with the exception of the following titles, which will continue to be available as well as all future pre-order titles Judgment Day 2002 WE294/WWE1037 King Of The Ring 2002 WE295/WWE1038 Vengeance 2002 WE296/WWE1039 Summerslam 2002 WE297/WWE1040 The Videos Vol.1 - Ramped Up WE309/WWE1052 Divas Undressed WE307/WWE1050 The court judgement also means that no video and DVD titles or interviews that contain the initials “WWF” in any form, either audio or visual can be shown. Retailers will still hold stocks of some deleted titles but wrestling fans wishing to add to, or complete their collections, should hurry, as these lines will quickly become sought after collector’s items. Ian Allan, Chairman of Clear Vision said; “November 7th will be a sad day in my diary. I have seen every one of these titles released in the UK; it’s a pity that we have to delete them because they still sell. However, times move on and we will continue to release brand new World Wrestling Entertainment titles every month to the fan base, and the future looks very exciting for the WWE.” THE LAST DATE TO ORDER BACK CATALOGUE TITLES ON SILVERVISION.CO.UK: 7 NOVEMBER 2002" Does anyone know if this just applies to the European editions, or will the same thing be happening in the USA?! I hope not!
Guest Slapnuts00 Report post Posted October 18, 2002 Hey, on another topic, I was browsing the site and noticed they have many pre-98 WWF videos (at the same regular prices too). I didn't realize that these were still avaliable! Do they just play in Europe? Or will they play in the US too?
Guest Grenouille Report post Posted October 19, 2002 I'd think that they wouldn't play here due to the fact European tapes are PAL format, while the U.S. has NTSC. I've heard that newer VCRs can play both, but I'd be skeptical with it.

Guest pochorenella Report post Posted October 24, 2002 DVD Extras: - Tour Recap - The Aftermath - The Rock after the Triple-Threat Match I assume that the "Aftermath" they're talking about here are the "offbeat shennanigans" with all the guys doing spinaroonnies and stuff? Didn't somebody post before that this stuff was going to be included as an extra on the Global Warning DVD? Or am I wrong?
Guest benoitrules2000 Report post Posted October 25, 2002 Hey slapnuts00, Be careful with that sale. There's a new zealand site called fight club having the same sale and they appear to be ripping ppl off left right and center. just warning you.
