Guest jpg Report post Posted March 2, 2002 Well, this month is the annual "31 Days of Oscar" on Turner Classic Movies and it's a great chance to catch a lot of fantastic movies. Today alone they're playing The 400 Blows, Rebel Without a Cause, To Kill a Mockingbird and American Graffiti. Here's a sampling of what's coming up in the next couple of days (all times are Eastern) Friday: Rebel Without a Cause - 6:00 PM To Kill a Mockingbird - 10:30 PM American Graffiti - 1:00 AM Saturday It's "Oscar finds Religion" night so not that much that I'm interested in except Going My Way and The Bells of St. Mary's back to back starting at eight PM (I haven't seen anything with Bing Crosby which is why I'm so interested). Sunday Seems like they're making up for the slow Saturday with this lineup. The legendary Jazz Singer, the very funny Odd Couple, two great Billy Wilder films, and then a Woody Allen double feature (with Annie Hall~!). The Jazz Singer - 8:00 AM The Odd Couple - 3:30 PM The Apartment - 5:30 PM The Lost Weekend - 8:00 PM Annie Hall - 10:00 PM Manhattan - 12:00 AM All of this stuff is worth checking out, and if you're interested you can find the entire month's listings on www.turnerclassicmovies.com.
