Jason Cross, aka "That Bastard" (at least in my stuff), is back in Wildside, being revealed as "The Green Guy" at tonight's Wildside TV taping.

On the subject of Jason Cross, but slightly off topic...

 

Did he ever give a reason why he no-showed the CZW Best of the Best 2 tourney? My guess is because he was supposed to job in the first round to Acid.

 

Also, even though you don't like him SC, haven't you rated him as better than AJ Styles? I think you mentioned that in one of your tape reviews. If so, why?

Physically, Jason Cross is one of the most talented wrestlers in the world. Imagine someone even BETTER at flipping and flying than AJ Styles, or even Red for that matter. I've seen him do a shooting star press where he rotated another 180 degrees and landed in a legdrop! Truly incredible.

 

As for BOTB2, that was the same week that he abandoned Wildside while he was their champion, so who knows.

Actually, as to Cross in BOTB, I think they just rotated the finish. What would have happened was that Cross would hit the SSLD on M-Dogg, Acid would Yakuza Cross, pin M-Dogg, then go over Cross in the second round. Cross instead "retired", so Gabriel of the Lost Boys was thrown in, took M-Dogg's spot, M-Dogg hits the SSLD, and went on to have the worst match of the night with Acid in the second round.

 

Yeah, Cross would defiently going to job to Acid, however.

According to Cross, his girlfriend made him quit the business that weekend, so he didn't show up.

 

If Cross can come back and do a little more than a flippy-flippy match at Fright Night with John Phoenix, then that proves he's progressing better than AJ is regressing.
