How good did you think stonecold Vs HBK was at WM IV what would youm rate this match. Who do you think was better and why.

I assume you mean WM XIV (14). I thought the match was better than it could of been due to Michaels' back injury. I don't like star ratings, but I've seen people give it ***.

HBK had to be careful with the bumps he took. HBK is the better athlete, but Austin was the bigger draw. So they're even in my opinion.

Tony's right. Shawn was doing pretty well, until he took a sick bump in the corner when he botched his usual flip onto the turnbuckle spot. He's in visible pain throughout the rest of the match. Still, for two cripples, I'd give it ***3/4. Excellent match.

Shawn's the better athlete, but Austin the better wrestler.  The match was about ***, and is overrated by most people.  Both guys were practically crippled at that point.  Their match at King of the Ring 1997 is better.

About *** 1/2 in my book.  But you have to wonder how good it could've been if not for Shawn's back injury.  Too bad..

the match is nothing to be ashamed about watching but don't go out of your way to get it. the KOR97 match on the other hand was off the hook. Try to get that  match on a comp because the rest of the card is pitiful.

KOTR '97 sucks, but it's kinda weird how everybody on the card ended up be remembered for something.

 

Owen - Dead to soon.

 

Sid - breaking his leg live on PPV.

 

Crush - Having a horrible tag match vs. Kane & Taker.

 

Animal & Hawk - Once an awesome tag team becoming joke and O.L.D.

 

Ahmed Johnson - Hurting people in the ring, getting fat.

 

Mankind - Became a star and best selling author. Falling off a cage.

 

HHH - Ended up a great heel. Now bangs Vince's daughter.

 

Undertaker - Throwing Foley off the cage at KOTR '98.

 

So much happened with every guy on the card. From death to retirement.

Dont forget about Pillman and Bret from that card. they didnt wrestle but they were still there to go onto to other memories. Shawn - Austin was the saving grace. I was there at the Civic Center and the crowd was so dead during the title match Taker match.

 

As far as the WM match i would give it ***3/4.

I'd add a star in factoring in Shawn's back problems.
