I got this e-mail today:

We've added a news item for "Married... with Children" to the site.

Here it is:

MWC Coming!! - 8:08 AM 10/20/2002

MWC fans, rejoice! The news you've been waiting to hear...in a recent

Video Store Magazine article about upcoming TV on DVD releases, Columbia

TriStar said they will be bringing "Married... with Children" to DVD.

Unfortunately no release date was given, but at least we know the studio

has plans to release the series on DVD.

You were sent this email because you have expressed having "Married...

with Children" released on DVD. If you no longer want to receive these

emails you may change the setting in your User Options - "Change

Account Information".

I won't believe it until I hear something a little more official than "a recent

Video Store Magazine article".

Details, details.

Hot damn, who wouldn't want to read an article from a bastion of creativity like Video Store Magazine?

That aside, nothing's hit the net about it or any of the sites I regularly visit, so I'd take this info with a truckload of salt. They be reporting rumors and giving false hopes, mesathinks.

If it's true, this is the best news I've heard in months.

I loved that show, but they hit their creative peak at the Sam Kinison Christmas episode (which I taped off TV the night it premiered on FOX and I still have it something like 12 years later and watch it every christmas)

I live ine England and so obviously didnt have as much exposure to married with children.

I realy liked the early series but didnt you get fed up with the later series that stopped telling jokes and relied on audience canned laughter to survive 30 minutes?

Even in the later series it had its moments but when Bud started to look older than Al when he grew his beard it lost something for me.

Is it true that christina Applegate and the actor who played Bud were going out in real life?
