Guest converge241 Posted October 25, 2002 Report Posted October 25, 2002 Clerks is my favorite but Chasing is the "best movie" IMO Clerks just holds a special place
Guest cabbageboy Posted October 26, 2002 Report Posted October 26, 2002 I voted for Mallrats. I recognized that it was a movie that harkened back to fun 80s teen comedies. Ultimately I think that's why it flopped. In 1995 no one wanted to see anything that was 80s. Ironically 4 years later in 1999 a retro 80s movie like American Pie made a fortune. Clerks and Chasing Amy are good, Clerks is better I'd say. I can't list either as my favorite because people simply don't talk the way those characters do. Am I the only one here who likes Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back? I'll admit there's too many dick and gay jokes in it, but a lot of it was hilarious.
Guest Angle-plex Posted October 26, 2002 Report Posted October 26, 2002 Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back was an OK movie, but the other 4 blew it away.
Guest Angle-plex Posted October 27, 2002 Report Posted October 27, 2002 I just watched Dogma for the first time since it was in theatres. It was a good movie, but I don't think it's nearly as good as the 3 before it.
