Guest C.H.U.D. Report post Posted October 22, 2002 Not much this week. Keep saving those $$$ for November. Gigantor: Set One Popular cartoon from the 60's arrives on DVD in a nice looking 4 disc set which features episodes 1 to 26. The set includes commentaries, interviews and more. Hellraiser: Hellseeker The 6th installment of the Hellraiser series (and the 2nd to arrives straight to video) is more or less the same as the last film Inferno, with plenty of hallucinations and very little Pinhead. The DVD features commentary and extended scenes. Last House on Dead End Street Wickedly violent and disturbing cult horror film finally arrives on DVD in a fully loaded 2 disc set after months of delays. Hardcore horror fans should enjoy this film. Patrick Uncut DVD release of psychic horror film features a commentary by the director. Star Trek 3: The Search for Spock: Special Edition Paramount continues it's re-release of the Trek films in 2 disc SE's. This one features a commentary, plus many featurettes and documentaries. 'Till next week.

Guest pochorenella Report post Posted October 22, 2002 Other than the James Bond flicks (I'm a big fan), among these releases I think Y Tu Mama Tambien is a terrific film and everyone should check it out. And you guys forgot to list SummerSlam 2002 coming out on DVD today!
Guest Youth N Asia Report post Posted October 22, 2002 I pretty much just yanked my list from dvdtalk.com, if I didn't list anything it's only cause they didn't. And I don't see anything I need to buy this week.
Guest Incandenza Report post Posted October 22, 2002 If I weren't broke, I'd be all over Y Tu Mama Tambien. It may not be today, but I will be getting, and soon.

What the hell is Evil Toons? I know it's very cheap, and I was tempted to get it, but I don't know much about it. I just love wierd stuff.

BadMovies.org hasn't torn apart Evil Toons yet? Aiiyah, they're behind. There's just one "toon" in the movie, a cartoon demon wolf. Yes, a cartoon demon wolf. This website has a review of it. It's higher than what I'd have given. This flick is deeply stupid, but it may have enough weirdness to keep you entertained.
Guest evenflowDDT Report post Posted October 25, 2002 Awww... for a minute I thought you guys were talking about Terror Toons. I always get those two mixed up. Oh, and YNA, Wishmaster 4 was shot back to back with Wishmaster 3 (I think). Whether it was or wasn't, its got the crappy guy playing the Djinn again. Guest Ravenbomb Report post Posted October 25, 2002 Evil Toons is a weird rip-off of Evil Dead with some borderline Softcore Porn bits in it. Isn't Last House on Dead End Street that Last House on the Left rip-off with David Hess in it?

What the hell is Evil Toons? I know it's very cheap, and I was tempted to get it, but I don't know much about it. I just love wierd stuff. It's just what it sounds like. It's a bunch of evil cartoon characters come to life and terrorize half naked chicks. I think it came out pretty soon after Roger Rabbit. It's got that look. I saw it when it first came out and have never seen it again. I just remember the movie kicking a whole lot of ass back then. Of course, I went to get it after weeks of it being there every single day, tempting me to buy it, it was gone. The Friday 13th DVDs are gone too. I only needed three more to complete it and they took the three I need away, I don't know what they did with them but right now all they have is part 2 and Jason X.
