Guest Ram Posted October 22, 2002 Report Posted October 22, 2002 Kinda cool, in an anti-hunter kind of way. WOAH, what a play on words. I guess. Although I wonder why it isn't on the front page.. Oh and..for you ladies.. What quality.
Guest candie45 Posted October 22, 2002 Report Posted October 22, 2002 Damn... and I thought for sure that it would have a bible passage on it. Yay, I am so happy that I can now buy WWE thongs.....
Guest Zero_Cool Posted October 22, 2002 Report Posted October 22, 2002 That's not bad. Not bad at all. I like the way they take the word "kill" and blow it up to emphasize the catchphrase.
Rob E Dangerously Posted October 22, 2002 Report Posted October 22, 2002 HBK already had 30 Bible t-shirts for TV. Like "One Nation Under God"..
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted October 22, 2002 Report Posted October 22, 2002 Their best shirt since "Cerebral Assassin." Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge
Guest candie45 Posted October 22, 2002 Report Posted October 22, 2002 HBK already had 30 Bible t-shirts for TV. Like "One Nation Under God".. True... but I'm sure everyone would like to share in the glory by wearing a "Saved 1" shirt.
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted October 22, 2002 Report Posted October 22, 2002 I get the feeling that somebody at marketing just drew that up because they wanted something to sell. I'm suprised Shawn isn't wearing one of these however.
Guest cynicalprofit Posted October 22, 2002 Report Posted October 22, 2002 Way to nWo black and white feeling for my taste, but its decent. Should have used the heart logo on it somehow.
Guest Choken One Posted October 30, 2002 Report Posted October 30, 2002 No...it gives a sense of Shawn grown up and being serious...Like it.
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Posted October 30, 2002 Report Posted October 30, 2002 Will they make new shirts every month for all the wrestler's current catch phrases? Where's my "Brand Extension" shirt?!
Guest Choken One Posted October 30, 2002 Report Posted October 30, 2002 Interesting note.... Although being in the company for 4 years...The Big Show has only 2 T SHIRTS! While...Kurt Angle has had about 25 different shirts in the same time frame and yet...Who will main event Series?
Guest FeArHaVoC Posted October 30, 2002 Report Posted October 30, 2002 That is very Un-Christianity like.
Guest Choken One Posted October 30, 2002 Report Posted October 30, 2002 When do they come out with the HBK HOLY BIBLE... Where 3 commandments are suspicously absent?
Guest Y2DAYDAY Posted October 30, 2002 Report Posted October 30, 2002 Interesting note.... Although being in the company for 4 years...The Big Show has only 2 T SHIRTS! While...Kurt Angle has had about 25 different shirts in the same time frame and yet...Who will main event Series And who will main event Wrestlemania? That is the reason Kurt vs Lesnar isn't at Series, which is because they are saving it. And people bitch about no long term planning.
Guest AndrewTS Posted October 30, 2002 Report Posted October 30, 2002 When do they come out with the HBK HOLY BIBLE... Where 3 commandments are suspicously absent? Which of those would be missing?
Guest Choken One Posted October 30, 2002 Report Posted October 30, 2002 Thou Shalt not steal (heat) Thou Shall not covet thy neighbor (Bulldog's Wife) Thou shalt not kill (bret's career)
Guest SP-1 Posted October 30, 2002 Report Posted October 30, 2002 Nice shirt. And I agree that it gives a more grown up HBK feel, which is good. Bah to those verses, as well. But I end my vocal disagreement here. -SP, who wonders why any HBK thread eventually ends up as a run against his faith . . .
Guest AndrewTS Posted October 30, 2002 Report Posted October 30, 2002 Thou Shalt not steal (heat) Thou Shall not covet thy neighbor (Bulldog's Wife) Thou shalt not kill (bret's career) -Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house; thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's. Rumor is that HBK's coveted not only his neighbor's wife, but his ass as well. -Remember the sabbath day to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work. But the seventh day is the sabbath in honour of the Lord thy God. He wrestled on Summerslam, a Sunday, which is considered the Sabbath by most modern religions, even if it was a Saturday in Hebrew tradition. -Thou shalt not commit adultery. You KNOW he's done this.

Can't help it. Gotta point out that if this is going to turn into a running flame on HBK's past, this might not be the place for it. Also, those events were pre-Christian HBK. As far as the beliefs are concerned, it's forgiven and done with. I refuse to hold him to those things. It's whether he falls in his current lifestyle that would begin to concern me. And I forgot to comment that yes, the play on "Hunt" if intended, is very nice. -SP, who continued his verbal disagreement, despite his better judgement . . .
Guest papacita Posted October 30, 2002 Report Posted October 30, 2002 Well that's the first shirt in a while that I wouldn't feel embarrased to wear in public...I'd buy it.
Guest Cataclysm911 Posted October 30, 2002 Report Posted October 30, 2002 Actually, I like the front of the shirt, but I hate the back. I would wear it, if I had a jacket over it. The front is actually cool.
Guest AndrewTS Posted October 30, 2002 Report Posted October 30, 2002 Hehe...I know, SP. I'm with you, but HBK had been supposedly a practicing Catholic his whole life. Probably only until recently when he was actually converted he actually followed any of those, but he's known about them his whole life.
Guest SP-1 Posted October 30, 2002 Report Posted October 30, 2002 Never knew he was Catholic until his conversion. Perhaps he got so used to that lifestyle that the new way of looking at it is what changed him. It's one of the pitfalls of any religion . . . letting it get stale. Back on topic, sort of: Does the appearance of a new shirt suggest plans that go beyond the Series? Think it's possible that since merchandise is being invested in, there's an extended run for HBK in the works? SP, who would be just fine with one last actual run for the Heart Break Kid.
Guest The_Minister Posted October 30, 2002 Report Posted October 30, 2002 A new shirt generally means someone is going to stick around for awhile, even if its only as a face in the backstage. Either way it will be nice to see Shawn walking around, though I forsee myself eating my words when Trip decides Michaels needs to job to him. I like the look of the shirt, it certainly sounds like the person wearing it is dangerous, apposed to alot of corny wrestling shirts. Anyway, thats my two bits.

Probably just cashing in on his face time for the moment. I don't think Michaels is returning full time. (Don't want him to either, but that's neither here nor there.)
Guest SP-1 Posted October 30, 2002 Report Posted October 30, 2002 The sad part, notJames, is that Vince would invest money in a spur of the moment marketing decision, in my opinion. If it were announced that Series was the last one for Michaels and they made a shirt for it or something, that's understandable, but if it isn't and he just disappears, it doesn't make much sense. -SP, who hopes that Vince isn't just blowing money for the moment.
