Stephanie McMahon appears in a pre taped segment during Smackdown where she thanks the viewing audience for supporting a wrestling program in the tradition of the McMahon family and the product their family built upon, dating back to her grandfather. She says Raw Is Crap and Bischoff and her ex husband Triple H should be banned from television as far as she's concerned. She's concerned that Smackdown and WWE will undeservingly get looked upon negatively for the sickening act of desperation that aired on Raw this past Monday in an attempt to match the television ratings that Smackdown performers like Rey Mysterio, Edge, Kurt Angle, Chris Benoit, The Guerrerros and Jamie Knoble earn, in the ring, against opposition like Friends, Survivor and CSI. On behalf of the Smackdown crew and WWE - they apologize for Raw Is Crap and encourage us to voice our displeasure.

 

An address for Raw Is Crap appears on the screen with a Stamford mailing address.

 

Eric Bischoff responds on Monday night by saying that this business is built upon television ratings and that the audience wants to see HLA and they want controversial programming. If there is one thing that he proved on Nitro it was that he will do anything for the rating points, just ask anyone who was in the WWF from 1995 until 1998 when that philosophy nearly put the McMahon family out of business.

 

Triple H later remarks that Stephanie and the McMahon family can suck it or kiss his ass and he really doesn't care what their opinion is of him. The world championship belt he possesses has none of the McMahon lineage. He concludes by calling Stephanie a skanky whore who is only in the position she holds because she's daddy's spoiled little girl when everyone knows that it should be Shane running the show!

 

Vince appears on Smackdown to advise Stephanie that he will be at Raw on Monday night to deliver a message to Eric Bischoff.

 

Vince appears Monday night, confronting Bischoff, and advises that Raw is truly CRAP and due to the overwhelming feedback from WWE fans, he is canceling the program!!!

 

Shane McMahon interupts and and stands between Bischoff and McMahon. Shane turns the focus on Vince ensuring that Shane never secured a timeslot when he purchased WCW which destroyed the Invasion and then how Vince snubbed him by making Bischoff the GM of Raw and lying to Shane by telling him that Shane would get the Smackdown GM position only to give the job to Stephanie.

 

Triple H appears and says he's heard enough McMahon family squabbles in his life already and he thinks just about anyone would rather see him wearing a Kane mask and simulating sex with a dead corpse then watch those wacky McMahons argue amongst each other. Vince tells Triple H that he owes both the McMahon family and particularly Stephanie an apology which he better get out before the final Raw goes off the air at 11:05.

 

WHOO!!! The Naitch appears, microphone in hand, walking that aisle saying that Vince is sadly mistaken. Flair talks about a contract that he signed with TNN after the initial brand extension which insured Ric Flair a 2 hour wrestling timeslot on the network each and every Monday night!

 

At this time Triple H kicks and pedigrees McMahon. Bischoff, Shane, Flair and Triple H then each remove their shirts to reveal WCW Nitro t-shirts as Bischoff and Flair simulate anal sex on Vince as Shane screams into the microphone asking Vince how it feels to be somebody else's bitch as the show goes off the air.

Anything involving the letters "WCW" is stupid because that's a worthless brand name that should never be used again. Replacing Nitro with RAW would probably piss of TNN more than any "controversial segment" could do also.

What the hell are you talking about? HOW to MAKE necrophelia a money maker? It already IS a money maker that surely will give WWE the mainstream attention it needs to become an everyday household name again! You just don't know anything about how to run a successful business and TV show!

Okay, maybe I was off base with the anal sex part. I just figured that mock Flair/Bischoff getting Vince from behind would be an appropriate ending to Nitro taking over Raw and winning the Monday night wars.

 

Even if they don't take it this far - I think Smackdown commentary should be all over criticizing Raw to further set the two shows apart. Let Heyman work shoot on the creative direction of Raw. It adds the element of "controversy" that WWE want the garbage that went down on Monday to stir up while solidifying Smackdown's product as not being associated with Raw. It's only fair to Smackdown as they've been producing what I feel is the first quality product in years. Don't let Raw's sick angle hurt Smackdown! A naked HHHane squatting over the late Katie Vick's corpse should not overshadow Mysterio, Edge, Angle, Benoit and The Guerrerros...

 

And I'm sorry but I'm for bringing back the WCW name! It's two complicated right now with two sets of champions and no brand name for the Raw set. The ____ World Champion and the World Wrestling Entertainment Champion? That's lame. I'd personally like to see WCW and WWWF under the WWE banner but that won't happen.

 

They own the WCW name, they spent a good deal of money on that and the Nitro name. They could have just signed Shawn Stasiak when WCW folded but they bought more than his contract! They bought the brand name, copyrighted properties, likeness, logo, merchandising license, etc.

 

Also I think Raw is so damaged at this point that YOU HAVE TO RENAME THE SHOW - Nitro was pretty brand recognizeable at it's peak and there are about 7.5 million former Monday night wrestling viewers who were there when Nitro existed and aren't there any longer. Maybe they'd be tempted to flick away from a MNF blowout or Everybody Loves Raymond to check out the new Monday Nitro. The original weekly live sports entertainment program with Eric Bischoff.

The big goof needs something to do! Color maybe then? I don't know, I think he was probably responsible for a lot of the NWO's better moments, he could write some funny stuff and I'll get hell for this - Big Daddy Cool was onto the whole anti-face babyface/cool heel thing before Stone Cold, remember how they tried to push him as a jolly go lucky big guy with his 1st title reign and then he came back with the shades, talking about how they misused him, dictated to him what he was to be, etc?

And I agree with HMW. No matter how damaged "RAW" is, you'll never rekindle that spark using a dead and gone product like wCw. It's not like the 200 wCw fans left across the nation are going to boost ratings if the word "Nitro" were to appear at 9pm on Monday.

 

Same goes with trying to get a late night slot for ECW. There's a reason both companies are dead. It's that same reason that might put Vince and Co. in the same predicament someday.

If Vince does plan on doing this, the best thing to do would be to wait until RAW starts getting back the viewers it once had. Then, they can slowly build up to the return of WCW Nitro. Remember, it would be the same superstars, just a different name. Therefore, fans would probably still tune in as long as the show was interesting.
