Do all the short undercard matches on TV.....

Well I must ask because a lot of the matches on Raw/Smackdown or so short in order to make room for so much filler material involving the Main Event(UT, Triple H show) that when it comes to PPV, the crowd for the most part can careless about an undercard match going over 5:00 minutes. It is like the crowd does not understand that on a PPV, there is no promos, just wrestling. Are TV edit-matches killing the heat for PPVS?

hell, yes. a lot of my part-time mark friends just won't stay up to watch ppv's (in the uk they're on live in the middle of the night). they say the matches are too long and there's no funny promos. they love the tv shows for exactly the reasons that the matches are short and there's plenty of skits. short attention spans and all. at least on smackdown recently, the trend has been towards some longer matches with good workrate. train them dogs, pavlov mcmahon dammit, train them.

also, feuds mean jack shit nowadays cause everyone has already fought everyone countless times on free tv anyway. if there are well-booked angles, this can perhaps be compensated for but there's somewhat of a lack of those around right now, so hey.
