Christian turned heel in Canada, and that went over pretty well.

 

When (not if) Booker loses the hair vs. hair match they won't shave him. You can't shave braids off anyway. Edge will probably cut some of the extensions off, and Booker wil come back looking like he did when he first came in the WWF. With twists, not Mystikal-style braids.

 

Edge would look like a seriously demented killer if he went totally bald (especially with those teeth and that eerie smile), but they'd never do that.

yeah, but christian turned on a canadian, and that makes a difference.  he also ran down toronto and canada iirc in his next promo, so he did do a good job, but it only really worked cos edge is also canadian.

I think Edge joining with Christian, beating the crap out of Booker post-match, and running down Canada could draw a ton of heel heat. Of course the WWF won't go that far.

How come everyone's solution to everything is to have a beatdown? Don't we get enough of those every other night on TV?

 

As far as the hair vs hair stip, I don't see it adding a lot of intrigue to the match. I guess it would raise the stakes of the feud higher, but they haven't even developed a feud yet, it has only been implied. I think they should just put Booker T in the main event and let him get some wins instead of just having him job all the time and coming up with bad comedy ideas for him. Booker T should be used the same way the Rock was used during his run as top heel during 98-99. I find it pretty stupid of the WWF to put Booker T in the situation tha he currently is in. He went on the Howard Stern show and they had him sit in the glass booth because they were legitimately afraid of him, but they (WWF) don't capitalize on his credibilty. Had the WWF let Booker T retain the WCW title, they could have built a big time heel (something that they lacked prior to the NWO signings) but they didn't for some reason.

 

As the WWF currently stands, I don't see Booker T ever holding a world title. Perhaps things will change when the split happens, but I doubt it. Booker T is best as a heel, not a face. As a face, he was sterilized and didn't have the fire that he has as a heel. They haven't built him as a credible heel thus far, so I can't see him winning a world title again as a heel, but perhaps the writing staff will pull their heads out of their asses or just be axed all together and things will change. If he was turned face, I shudder at th thought of him trying to be the nice guy instead of the more entertaining heel that he can be.

Remember when Edge had a bald wig on to mock Siskel n Ebert? that was pretty goddamn weird. Especially with the teeth. I think they'd keep to a more spiky nu metal type arrangement.

I like the idea of a hair vs. hair match, but I think it would be a lot more interesting and funny if the two had to take the other's hairstyle.

 

If Booker lost, he would have to wash out the dreads and grow out some long flowing locks. If Edge lost, he would have to cut his hair and get dreads. Of course, this wouldn't happen, but the visual of the two with each other's hairstyle is pretty funny.
